Dirty rooms, loud aircondition outside the window (from the restaurants), dampness. I would not recommend it. Scary hotel. Happy to stay there only 1 night.
We had a good night in that hotel. The bed was confortable and people really nice.
The first night they gave us a room that was not the same as in the pictures when we have booked the room. The room was small, very dirty, with windows that did not work (no curtains or blinds) without a proper wardrobe. Also, the bathroom felt bad smell and there was no hand soap. Only after complaints were transferred to a better room which is not fair to the guests who are staying in this guest house.
This guest house is in a very good location, it's very basic but clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It's a little noisy at times but it's in the heart of the city so not their fault, I would stay there again for a couple of nights only as it's not quite comfortable enough for a longer stay
I would like 2 pillows on the bed as one isn't enough but that's it
The employees have been nothing but friendly, helpful and nice. They advised us on how to find things and what our cheapest options were. There is also no better location to be in Lisboa since the hostel is right on Rossio. I would stay here again for a short city trip but not for a longer vacation.
We had our room facing the back which I thought first was good to escape the traffic noise. However, all adjacent restaurants and houses had their air conditioning/ventilation to the this same back as well, so it wasn't only loud but, we had the smell of food in our room every night. Also, I had some kind of allergic reaction, I think it was caused by the dust coming from the outside air conditions but it was too warm to close the window at night.
I thought that for the price, the hotel was excellent value. It had all the basics which is what we were after.
The only criticism I have is that our room and bathroom smelt hugely of damp. This unfortunately affected my ability to sleep as I coughed a lot during the night. Also the smell of drains from the bathroom was incredibly strong.
The location is great. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. We had a cute balcony. The price is quite fair.
was clean and the location was optimal
impossilble to sleep , there was a terrible noise coming from outside, through the whole night. It seems to be some kind of machine , no idea what it was. It feels like being by the dentist the whole night. So you can imagine how strenuous and impossible it was
Great position in the town center. Room is a bit too small but very clean. The shower in the room is a bit too small and the bath room get always wet. Very clean
Room is a bit too small. The shower in the room is a bit too small and the bath room get always wet
- Super covenient location. Just 1 minute walk from Plaza de Figueira. - Air conditioner, calm during operation and temperature control worked fine. - Tiny balcony facing the street. - Kindly front staff. - Room lighting was bright enough.
- Sometimes no staff was available at the front and needed to wait for some time to get in the building (front door was closed). - Small bed-side table was available, but not big enough as a desk (there was no desk).
location is in the center of lisbon, the reception staff is helpful.
The room is small and dark, unlike other hotel housekeeper will not clean your room if you don't ask.
very central location
We had a toilet in our room and unfortunately we heard the water flushing whenever a neighbor was using the toilet. Apart from that we heard also the air conditioning of the neighboring building. For one night it was ok, but staying there longer would be a pain :)
Very good location, helpful and nice staff.
ugly, scratched wall, like before painting, forgot to do this? cockroaches! Very tiny room, not for 2 person - there was no place to open suitcases. Very dark and tiny bathroom in room.
Friendly staff, located in the center of Lisbon, Price
air conditions from the backyard a little bit too loud, maybe its better to book a room to the street
Amazing location just 2 minutes away from the Rossio square. Clean and comfortable.
The shower drain was almost blocked, taking a shower was uncomfortable. Bad WiFi reception in the room and some parts of the hotel. Printing costs 50 cents per page at the reception.
Great location on a quiet street in the middle of the city centre, friendly staff, nice, simple room with a small balcony, cleaning everyday.
The shower drain was a bit blocked.
Top location! The room was cleaned every day, also we got aways fresh towels when we wanted. Very pleasant staff, working during the night. At first I was a little bit concerned that they took the whole amount of money for the room already during the online reservation, but when I sent them an e-mail with the inquiry how can I prove them that I paid, they sent me very quickly the scan of receipt of credit card payment. Everything without even a little problem! :) For the people who are looking for an inexpensive room in the centre of the city this place is perfect!
the room was tiny, but anyway for this price was okey :)
Perfect option in budget range. Good location, nice staff. Cheap machine with coffee in the lobby.
There's no kitchen with and electric kettle. For me it would be a great facility.
The location of this hotel is excellent, as it is very close to the centre of Lisbon (i.e. Rossio), so it is ideal to explore the city. The wifi was also very good.
The rooms are dark and not confortable at all. Our room had the handle of the window broken. I was with other people and in their rooms they did not have the television. The bathroom had a smell of damp. The worse thing is that they did not tell has that to have the rooms cleaned we had to leave the keys with them when we went out. So the first days 2 of our 3 rooms were not cleaned. This never happened to me before anywhere.
The place is hard to find.i had a booking and they didnt honor it, staff were rude, non receptive and unhelpful.you couldn't pay me to stay here I would rather sleep on the street
The price was great. I came from boom and the hot shower was great. Good and free wifi. Close to metro and texi.
No airport service. Spanded 1 hour on metro to find the hotel.
Although the location of this guest house is good, we would not recommend it to others. The facility has seen better days. The rooms could use a face lift. The room was very dark. The bed was uncomfortable. Likewise, there were very large insects in the halls.
In the very center of the city, very close to taxis, buses, train stations and at walking distance from most things to see and do. Staff speaks English and they're nice.
Room was very very very small (the kind that you wonder where to put luggage and how to open it), cleanness not perfect. For some people the constant smell of tandoori and spices from the Indian restaurant downstairs could be annoying.
The staff is very helpful. The location is excellent.
But the facility is very old and not very clean as I feel itchy. But the price is cheap too.
