Great helpfull staff and we'll located. Unfortunately on the third floor on a noisy street.
Noisy area and no heating
- smoking in room - wi-fi in room - hotel is in center
- high stairs to entrance of hotel
Great location, close to down town squares and shopping/eating places. Actually the home of a lovely, older local couple. Was like being a guest in somebody's house!
Doorbell entry system from main street meant the buzzer going off well into the night so our room by reception was affected by this, along with street noise. Would stay again though, but would recommend earplugs!
Nice place in the centre of the city, small but comfortable. Our room was near the street where stops the tram, but even though we could hear it we have been able to sleep comfortably.
Spot in the middle of Lisbon. Facilities are a bit outdated, but that's only a minor point. Access to kitchen and fridge.
Being in downtown Lisbon comes with the downside of continous noise of traffic in the streets below(hotel is on 3rd floor and only stairs to get there).
The staffs were very nice though they do not speak much English. Location is very central.
It is very noisy at night and therefore very difficult for us to sleep. No hot water in our room.
Location is prefect, and staffs are really kind and helpful.
It was hard for us to use wifi in our room which is far from the router.
Fantasic location in the centre of Lisbon for a very low price.
No airconditioning, only a fan! As Rue de Prata is one of the busiest streets, opening a window was not an option. This made the room very uncomfortable due to its small size. Also the beds are really small and not suited for anybody taller than 1.65 meter.
Location is very convenient, walking distance to many important places and easy access to Metro. Staff is very polite and always tries to help with any inquiries. The price is atractive
Internet is always saturated/not working. No elevator, not too bad but with luggage a little hard.
Cheap and friendly personelle. Good shower. Center of Lisboa.
The tram is in front of the pension. It makes a lot of noise, starting from 05.45. Also a lot of heavy traffic.
Very central. Impeccably clean. Friendly staff. Free wifi. Excellent value for money. Would stay again.
The street is noisy - but can be solved by slosing the window, an in any case we were prepared for that. The double bed was exceptionally short (1.75 or at most 1.80 m I think) and narrow.
Great location and budget friendly. Ok for one night.
Basic and very small rooms. Fan but no aircondition, getting warm so you have to open window (lot of street noise). No hot water.
The location is very good, close to Praça do Commercio and walkable to all the tourist sites. The staff are polite and helpful and the room was clean. Good value for money.
The noise from the street was pretty bad, which if you are a light sleeper, will be a problem. The only other negative was the steep stairs to climb to the 3rd floor. But if you are in good shape and don't have too much luggage should not be a problem.
Great Location, lovely staff
It was impossible to sleep with windows wide open, as it was far to noisy-hence it was hot! I'd definitely come back , but with earplugs!
Strategic position into the Lisbon center. Ospitality of the staff
Challenging ramp to access to the pension at the third floor
Great location, close to the metro station and in the old town. Friendly staff.
The stairs were very steep (hotel was on the 3rd floor). No elevator.
Location. Everything is in walking distance. Sights, grocery store, metro, bus, train...
Location. Too much street noise during the night. But that's something I've expected. DOORBELL !!!! You don't get the key to the hostel so you have to ring the doorbell and receptionist will open the door for you. The doorbell is so loud it could easily woke you up at night even if you're not a light sleeper. It's really annoying.
Friendly staff Great central location Price
The room was very small, almost too small to walk between the wall and the bed. The 2-person bed was really no 2-person bed but a somewhat larger 1-person bed. Two friends were sleeping in it together and they could not move at all because the bed was way to small. Lisbon has more hostels for 15 euro each night, I wonder how large their beds are.
very nice polite unobtrusive staff. Good location, comfortable, clean room
big noise coming from the street, preventing sleep
Very friendly staff, perfect location, only the older staff members do not speak English well, but we still got what we asked for .
Showers are kind of small if you are 6'7" like me but thats just a side note.
Location. Practically everthing is within walking distance from the hotel. The value for money is incredible, definitely an excellent place to go to if you're a student on a budget.
Some minor issues: staff does not speak English and there are a good 3 flights of stairs to walk up to get to the hotel (no lift). But for students like us these were only very minor issues, did not stop us from having an excellent stay, would definitely recommend this place.
Very central, in the heart of Lisbon. They let us leave the luggage during the day of our departure. The staff is very friendly!
Wifi stopped working suddenly. The city started getting noisy at very early morning so we had to shut the windows: the fan saved our sleep! Just a warning: third floor with steep stairs could be an issue with a lot of luggages.
+excellent location, right in the heart of the city. +friendly and helpful staff +opposite a great little cafe (value for money, tasty and helpful staff) +access to kitchen if required +We'd stay here again, definitely. Obrigado!
-three flights of stairs would make it difficult for people with mobility problems, but I guess that's why it was such a good price!
Location in Lisbon old city close to waterfront.
Good location, you can walk everywhere Friendly staff
Apartment is a bit old fashioned. Can be a bit smelly at times due to all the toilets in the hallway. Feels a bit like a share house
