Very nice Hotel Staff friendly and very helpful. Buffet Breakfast was lovely fresh fruit was delicious if british best to avoid the sausages and bacon everything else fab

Staff helpfulness especially Emanuel Brito who was probably one of the best customer service people I have ever encountered.

Weather - It rained a bit but not the hotels fault !

The room and facilities. Good food food and attentive staff

Being located in room 1903 and being attired in Evening Dress having to walk 500m in pouring rain and getting soaked before the evening even started was not good. There were at least 50 rooms unoccupied just 50m from the main Hotel. Unacceptable

Very quiet hotel. Rooms clean and well kept.

Air conditioning in rooms a little loud. Sprinklers loud at night. Staff member at teveption failed to give us a wake up call on morning of departure. Selection of food poor during the day in hotel. Poor selection of ice creams etc at pool. No facility to nuy daily news paper. No spa/thermal suite, would have expected it at a 5 star hotel. Shuttle bus could be provided on a more regular basis. Last bus to villamoura in the pm did not collect again so we had to get a taxi back to hotel.

This Hotel is an amazing place to be. I stayed here from 27th Sept to 1st October with my Partner in Room 1809. This was the most amazing room ever. The staff could not have helped us anymore than they did, I must mention Paula who checked us in, (very professional and welcoming) We got a shuttle ride on a Golf buggie to our room and our luggage was brough right into our suite. The young guy even gave us a little tour of the resort (we did not need this as we had stayed here before but it was lovely and his knowledge was excellent). Our room was beautifully decorated with wooden beams and a garden area to sit and chill. The room was cleaned to perfection every day (Fresh towels twice per day and crisp white cotton bed sheets every morning).. Our main aim of the weekend was to relax and watch the golf (Ryder Cup) which we could do so with such comfort at the Golf Clubhouse which is 2 min walk for the main hotel complex. The food here was really wonderful too. We also got a round of golf in (very popular with Golfers and there are 3x Par 9 courses to choose from all in great condition. You can hire clubs and buggies if you wish. Indoor and Outdoor Pools also clean and well maintained. Hotel Breakfast exceptional choice and the Staff very accomodating and pleasant. They run a free shuttle bus from the complex into Vilamoura Marina (like a town centre) or the beach about 4 times per day but this only runs in Summer (But it is only 7-8 Euro in a taxi to go to the main Marina anyway. The Hotel has a bar with entertainment every evening with a buffet dinner with different themes, Something for everyone).. It is with out any hesitation that I recommend this hotel.. We can't wait to go back..

The facilities were great and the staff were excellent, couldn't fault the service we received at all. The breakfast was really good with a huge buffet choice. The food at the pool bar was in our opinion the best place to eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel & return myself one day.

The hotel states free Wifi and infact it is only free for half an hour a day with a passcode and can only be received in the reception area, which was usless. We found out by chance that the Golf club did have free Wifi all day, but again only in the club house, which was better but nobody had told us. You are only allocated 1 towel a day for the pool area, which could have been better organised. There are no local shops and the bar charges 4.75euros a bottle for water. Take a taxi into the village where it is 0.16 cents a bottle !!!

Staff excellent. Breakfast brilliant. Room spacious, lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed. Everything you needed for your stay. Would recommend this hotel.

The receptionist who checked me in was terrible. The others were fine

The bed in our room was huge and so comfortable and the room we had was lovely ans spacious bathroom lovely and roomy.we got new clean towels at pool every day . brilliant breakfast buffet offered everything from hot to cold and very wide selection keeps to going till dinner. The hotel offers a free shuttle service twice a day to mirana which costs between 6 and 7 euro by taxi. On our last nite we got champange and strawberrys and chocolate as we were celebrating an anniversary. Second time stayin in this hotel and wood go again.

The only thing I would fault was at the bar a bottle of still water is nearly 5 euro pure rip off... If your a drinker consider all inclusive or stock up in water at shop.

This hotel is very good value and has some of the friendliest and helpful staff I have come across on the Canaries & Portugese 5* hotels circuit. Its main selling point is space and the really good use of that space, you never feel crowded out. Our room in the main block was spacious with a balcony overlooking a peaceful garden & pool, and receiving evening shade which was welcome as it gets pretty hot out there; bed & pillows very comfortable. The villas in the grounds appeared attractive if a little close together and seemed mainly populated by young families. Breakfast was excellent (big choice & outdoor terrace) as was dinner in the restaurant, bar in evening quiet and perhaps lacking in atmosphere. We went there for a long weekend to simply get away from the terrible weather in Northern Europe and enjoy the sun and this hotel absolutely delivered for us!

Only cirtiicism would be the lack of an "adults only" area to relax in peace and quiet. The pool bar area and pools are dominated by young and inevitably noisy families even although this hotel is in a residential area some distance away from the beach, but you can find peaceful and pleasant open areas in the grounds overlooking the golf course from the villas to get away from it all

Very friendly staff and very much enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was great - really lovely.

To be honesst I didn`t think it was 5 Star as it claims to be. Had a lovely stay. The jacussi in the pool didn`t work - dissappointing ! I know it was still a quiet time of year but if your paying you should have the facilities. The room we had 1011 was very small. Our other friends had bigger rooms with a living area. That was dissappointing to me. On check in there was a bit of a mix up with twin and double rooms even though when booking we booked twin rooms. A lot a messing about. We were alright about it but seems a bit disorganised.
