The hotel was very clean and nicely laid out. The position is fantastic being on the cliffs above a beautiful beach. The poolside bar is quite expensive for lunchtime meals and drinks but the breakfast is plentiful and there are nice restaurants nearby for evening meals. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms very well equipt with fridge and microwave with sink - and they even washed up for us!!! Nothing! Except the prices at the poolside bar which I thought were far too much, but the food was nice.

Really liked this hotel. Staff were most helpful. The rooms were spotless. Breakfast was comprised of full English/Irish, cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit etc. The spa area was perfect, we enjoyed using the sauna, steam room and pool. I had a swim in the outdoor pool(November) !....but I was the only one. Had a massage in the wellness centre. We took the cliff walk to Amacera de Pera. Even the walk up to the local intermarche was interesting. Lots of Lemon trees and interesting plants. Looking at the calendar for our next trip.

They gave us an extra bed for free. Almost everything. Complete lack of service, very old facilities, AC not working properly, poor breakfast, etc

Nice indoor swimming pool, suitable for young children. excellent location on beach. It was not to far from faro airport and suited our needs as a young family for a winter break. The price of drinks and food in hotel is more expensive than Ireland € 2.80 for fizzy orange and €13 for sandwich. New years eve party (dinner and drinks) with a brunch the following day at a cost of €150 per adult and €75 per child!! Though there are cheaper places near by. Also would not rate it 4 star though we did not pay 4 star prices for the room for the week either.

Good location in a quiet neighbourhood. Good sea views and pleasant grounds surrounding the hotel. Poor internet access and no internet available in the hotel rooms. Inadequate reminders to guests to prevent excessive noise in the corridors which disturbs guests who may be sleeping. Some problems with loose floor tiles in the main corridors. Inadequate parking spaces.

The room was very comfortable and the hotel was definitely excellent value for money. Although it is a big hotel, there was still individual attention - the bottle of champagne on my birthday was particularly appreciated! The fact that the sauna/turkish bath were not available in the morning, but most of all the fact that the pool attendant came to put chlorine in the indoor pool in the midle of our exercise swim at abound 0830.

It was exactly what I wanted - great service and I was able to just get on with what I wanted to do without any one bothering me - which was to relax!! Amazing cheap deal on the low season, still hot enoough to go to the beach in November (well just anyway)- great facilities. Expensive shuttle from the airport as I arrived late.. You either should hire a car or arrive early enough to take the public bus - schedule available online.

We only paid 40 euros a night. Well worth it! Excellent staff. Very helpfull. Breakfast was great if you know what we paid! Dont think to much about the coffee ;) though. We would stay here the next time. Dont go to the restaurant on the beach to eat your fish. Go back into town and you will find yourself a restaurant with fish for 25-30 euros a kilo!!! Coffee. No free internet.

The service was really good, the room was nice and clean. And the location of the hotel is fantastic, really amazing views. We had de sea view room, and it was just amazing! Overall really happy, would definitely go back. Only thing I would say was that we had breakfasts the day we were leaving, but because we had to leave early we got the breakfasts in our room the night before, so in the morning the coffee was cold. Maybe they could get the breakfasts in the morning instead of the night before.

Excellent location nearby a nice beach. Nice surroundings and possibilities for both hiking, biking and running on footpaths near the hotel. Walking distance to the nearest village with a lot of restaurants and a very long beach.

We liked the outdoor and indoor pool and the evening entertainment. The location gave use opportunities to explore the area around, with which we were unfamiliar. We did not particularly like the food arrangements. Sometimes the breakfasts were awful with no bacon but some sort of fried sliced ham which was disgusting. We never had an evening meal there because I am a diabetic and found the 24Euro buffet menu inflexible for my needs. I do not want to pay 24Euro if I can only eat one course.

Nice swimming pool - with salted water, not very crowded. Even though reserving sun beds is not allowed, people are still doing it, but despite of this, you can still find something any time of the day. The beach is not very far, nice beach, though too many people. Very nice - a massage tent right on the beach, very good value. Restaurant staff - very nice. Average breakfast. Not really 4 stars- for example one would expect a hairdryer. No kids entertainment, just a kids club in a room. Also really quiet and sometimes boring in the evening. Unless you rent a car or call a taxi there is not much choice around, only a few overpriced restauranf around.

Easy and close to 2 very nice beaches. Good reception service and breakfast. The hotel decoration is rather out dated (nothing for drying swimsuits, no clothes shelves), the general service is relaxed and it was virtually impossible to find a swimming pool side bed (occupied with towels).

The room was confortable and the landscape superb No hair dryer in the room (You have to ask for it in the desk). Poor breakfast. Too much noise and confusion from the kids staying at the hotel. Impossible to find a place in the pool. You have to pay for Internet conection... Room cleaning in the evening when you were already back from the beach. I understand it was the first week of August but this is a 4 star and for this amount of euros I would be better treated in any spanish location...

This was a wonderful hotel and holiday. The staff were fantastic - they were friendly and efficient. Rooms and facilities were modern and spotless. Pools and garden where loungers were situated had beautiful views sweeping across the sea and it was a short walk down a path and steps to the small but perfect beach. Canoes and pedal boats are available for hire if you wish to explore the caves or relax on the water. Breakfast was included in our rate and it was the usual fayre, always fresh and as much as you wished to have. A supermarket was only a 10 minute walk up the road and this was very useful. Mostly older couples and families with younger children seemed to be around but this suited us fine. A taxi into town in the evening cost around 5 euro and there are restaurants and a promenade you can walk up and down. My only suggestion for improvement would be that the hotel consider introducing a less expensive evening meal menu that would encourage more people to stay around and create a livelier atmosphere in the bar area. Air conditioning in the gym would be welcome also.

“The staff were very friendly from booking in to leaving. If you get the chance try and get Room 600, the views are amazing and the room is total luxury. However the first room we were given had a great view as well. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and loads of it. Had agreat time here and will definately be back but a sea view is a must.” Graham, London |
