The access to the property is a bit rough (2km of non pavemented road), but if you go slowly in a regular city car, you can do it.
We were advised by the owner not to drink the tap water, as it comes from a drill and it is not treated. They let us use their bottled water during our stay (2 nights) and of course you can buy your own bottled water in the village's supermarket, but it would have been nice to be aware of this beforehand (as it is normal, in Portugal, that all water coming from the tap is drinkable and for free, it was the first time I stayed in a hotel where this didn't happen). It felt a bit strange to always have to knock on the owner's kitchen to "ask for water" everytime we needed it, especially in the summer when we drink a lot of it.
The porperty is located in Alentejo, 1h30 away from Lisbon. It is located in a quiet area, but very close to several great beaches (15/20km). Everything in the property is decorated with great taste. They have an exterior kitchen, with a fridge, which you can use. Free use of the bikes, pool and outside areas, which are great and never very crowded, as there are only 6 rooms in the property. The breakfast is very varied and so good, with everything being prepared by the owners right before being served. Nearby you have a village with restaurants and a supermarket.
