We used the hotel as a 1 night stop-over. For that purpose it was ideal and it would also be good for a longer stay if the budget was tight. Very good value for money, with pool and bar area. Our room was very basic, but quite adequate for a short stay. |

Was a small hotel so felt very friendly and easy to find way around. Pool and bar areas were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Was quiet and more suited to families with small children and older couples. Had a regular bus service into local town and when not in service taxis were easy to get and very reasonable. Ideal hotel for those wanting a quiet get away. |

Friendly, helpful staff; reasonable prices for abundant food with a variety of choice from well-prepared entrees. Peaceful grounds, located in the countryside. Transportation provided to shopping and beach. This is my third stay at various times of the year. You cannot beat this hotel for the price! I really enjoyed my stay |

The second pool at the back of the property was preferred due to the lawns and shade trees. Lots of parking under cover. Massive rooms. Broken air conditioner took 24 hours to repair. Air conditioner fan blew directly down on the beds. Tile floors in hallway made for lots of noise. Very narrow bath. Location was marginal - 10 minutes drive into Quateria. |

Quiet. Close to beach, restaurants with car. Reasonable play area for young children. Two single beds rather than a double bed. |

Pinhal do Sol is excellent value for money, friendly staff, good facilities. Could not fault it. I would have liked more English Speaking T V, there is only the news channels |

Price & convenience, easy location. Breakfast - awful coffee & juice. Collapsing fold-up bed in room - we had to put the mattress on the floor. Poor plumbing - inadequate flush on toilet. |

The hotel offered excellent value for money for a family room in the area. Good pool and play area for the children. Good breakfast buffet selection. A little dated in style but fine for just one or two nights. Limited choice of menu for dinner. |
