Hotel Ponta Delgada  

I found the Hotel Ponta Delgada to be good value for the money. It is well located and within walking distance of all the main sites in the city. The staff were very helpful, professional and pleasant. My flight arrrived very early and I was allowed to check in early with no extra fee. On my last day they also let me store my luggage for a few hours while I enjoyed my last meal in the city. The pool, sauna and gym were well maintained and nice to enjoy at the end of a day of sight-seeing.I would stay here again should I return to Ponta Delgada.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, and the included breakfast were the two most beneficial aspects of the stay. The staff was helpful when asking for meal suggestions and daily activities. Aside from the uncomfortable bed mentioned below, the facility as a whole was adequate.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and unsupportive. I could find no position to get comfortable and stay asleep more than a few hours, and would awake each morning with considerable back pain.

I liked the cleaness of the hotel and just a few minutes from the airport pdl. The breakfast is OK,we can survive.

The internet connexions are free but there is a problem of wifi range depending which floor you are. There is no tv remote control in the room and the tv is up fixed on the wall...

The staff is very helpful. The location is great, only a few minutes to the city center by foot. The rooms are nice and clean.

The location near the city center, close to everything, but you didn't have the street noise. Very nice view on the town and sea. We had the swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi almost all the time just for ourselves. The price was good, the room and the bathroom clean. Stuff was very helpful. Breakfast is average and same every day: flakes, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit salad, cheese and ham. I warmly recommend this hotel and I would like to come again in the next future.

The location is good. And breakfest was ok.

It's ok if you need stay central in the city, but thats about it. One elevator didn't work for all 4 days we were there. I asked a maid to open my room because my key didn't work and she opened it without checking if it was infact my room, then left me alone to enter and leave as I wished. I guess anyone off the street can enter our room. If the hotel is busy there is no parking, only handfull of cars can park in tight and dark underground lot and about 10 reserved hotel parking spots on the street. Beds are hard, very small tv, cheap amententies. It's budget hotel if that.

Lha acolhedora, onde desfrutar a natureza é a coisa mais importante, bonita Ilha, boa comida, muito boa estadia...

Localizaçao, sua piscina e jaq.

Colchao da cama e pequeno almoço poderia ser de melhor qualidade e variado.

Gostei da localização já que se encontra muito perto do Centro e da Marina de Ponta Delgada. Destaco ainda a relação qualidade/preço que é muito boa.

Não gostei tanto da simpatia de alguns funcionários.

A simpatia e disposição de todo o "staff" do hotel. A localização é optima, bem perto do aeroporto e da marginal da Ponta Delgada. O quarto estava limpo e arrumado. O pequeno-almoço é excelente.

Tudo correu bem. Quando assim é, devemos enaltecer tudo da mesma forma com que com facilidade criticamos. Foi tudo bom, e já temos uma vasta experiência de hotéis dentro e fora do país. Igual ou melhor por cá talvez o Vip e o Lince, e os de Madrid. Parabéns e continuem assim. Pedro
