Hotel voldeed ruimschoots aan de verwachtingen. Vriendelijk personeel, nette en ruime kamers, zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, werd tijdens de maaltijd uitstekend aangevuld, in één woord: perfect ! Er was een kluis op de kamer, maar die kon alleen worden gebruikt als je extra betaalde. Hoort niet bij een 4-sterren hotel. Stop een Euro extra in je dagprijs en praat nergens meer over, staat n.m.m. even netter. |

Als wereldreiziger kan ik u zeggen dat dit een absolute uitschieter is , de tuin is prachtig , de zwembaden binnen / buiten , de ligging uitstekend wij huurden een wagen en konden er afgesloten parkeren zeker een aanrader. |

De balkondeur was van buiten uit niet te openen, dus moest open blijven, waardoor de airco uit sloeg. |

Fantastische ligging. Goede restaurants in het hotel. Zeer mooie tuin. Verzorgde zwembaden, zowel binnen als buiten. Heel vriendelijk personeel. De matrassen zijn te hard. De sluitingstijd voor de zwembaden is 18 uur, dat is veel te vroeg. Een betere hotel-busdienst van en naar Funchal. Gratis vervoer van en naar de luchthaven zou fantastisch zijn. |

The hotel was modern, clean and the room was spacious. The staff were very helpful and all spoke very good English. The breakfast was excellent, Two complaints. 1) We we not offered any help with our luggage to and from our room. 2) The hotel reservation service arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport at a cost or 40 euros. this was at least 10-15 euros above the normal price. I felt that they had ripped us off. It is not the money it is the principle. |

Beautiful hotel. Although in the busy hotel part of Funchal, once in the hotel, everthing is very quite and peaceful. Beautiful rooms with wonderful seaview. Nice facilities with several swimming pools inside and outside. It was all perfect |

We instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived. Large rooms, fantastic facilities, breakfasts to die for. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Staff very attentive and moved our room as soon as they could. Courtesy bus into Funchal during the day Beds very hard. Average age about 55. Further away from Funchal than we thought, no way you could walk into the centre. Booked a seaview room and were given a view of the hotel next door with a glimpse of the sea to the side |

We were lucky enough to get 'bumped-up' to a suite in 'The Residence' section of the complex- and so this review may be slightly biased, however, the hotel as a whole was excellent and the facilities superb. |

pool garden area was nice. room had a good view of the sea. disappointed in the Med restaurant. better off with the Portuguese one if you want a meal in the hotel. |

Extensive grounds and facilities. Friendliness of most staff (see below). Excellent location. It took 45 minutes to check out! There were only 2 people in front of us but the desk was managed by a single inexperienced clerk. This was totally out of character with the normal hotel service. Did not have time to find out why we encountered this problem. |

Clean, nice view, nice pools, great staff The hotel was so big, that we were constantly lost. They could improve the signs of how to get around inside the hotel. |

Staff were great, food incredible, and in May was very quiet even though lots of people around. No loud music or kids running around when enjoying relaxing at the pool. |

the central location they gave us a room at the side with a partial sea view but unfortunately there is a large hotel with FBO the name of the builder on the side under construction 6 days a week 12 hours a day and there is a lot of noise. I asked for a change of rom. But they said sorry full. The noise spoiled a nice hotel. Also they try to push time share with a 50euro voucher also there a lot of package tour people here who have not paid a lot. |
