Pousada de Belmonte  

Sympathetically restored leaving some original features. Good restaurant albeit very expensive with no set menu offered. Spacious rooms.

Our room was very noisy due to broken air conditioning unit. Even when the system was switched off, this still made a noise and kept us awake every night of our stay (2 nights). There was no telephone number for Reception in our room so we had to go in person at 2am in the morning to complain, the Receptionist just said they would turn the whole system off. No offer for us to change rooms. When they did this, it made the room very cold! We mentioned this in the morning but they seemed very loathe to move us although the hotel was almost empty and we were too tired at this stage to move anyway. There was a sewerage smell from the bathroom. Large rugs in loung area of hotel stained in 2 parts. Upon checking out no offer of a reduction in payment or even an apology. The machine would not work to take our payment and we had to use our remaining cash which was inconvenient! Suffice to say, we are not very happy! No leisure facilities at all apart from an outdoor pool which was too cold to use. Restaurant good but very expensive with no set menu! Our intention of a short break was to relax and we came home more tired than when we arrived!!

beautiful design, nice trails for hiking around the hotel. the room was big and romantic. the restaurant was amazing.

A beautiful Pousada with a terrific restaurant.

Excelent place to rest and relax, also near Serra da Estrela, about 1h drive.

Algumas esquecimentos na arrumação dos quartos. Algumas falhas de reposição de alimentos no buffet do pequeno almoço.

A localização é excelente,a parte antiga da pousada é fantástica pelo seu tipo de construção.

A comida no restaurante é excelente mas é pena o restaurante não servir refeições tradicionais da zona.

Paisagem, calma, decoração.

Foi uma das grandes surpresas da minha viagem. Bellíssima, acolhimento super carinhoso, comida especial, limpeza, atenção, carinho, simpatia. Vale a pena ir a Belmonte para ver os museus e ficar nessa maravilha Eduardo Goldenstein

Muy bonita la decoración y el entorno natural

Cuando llegué no fucionaba la calefacción en la habitación. Me dicen que me cambian a otra porque no consiguen arreglarlo. Me pasan a otra habitación de inferior categoría e inferior tamaño a la contratada. En la reserva de booking indicaba botella de vino, fruta y desayuno en la habitación. Sólo la botella llegó. Me quedé asombrado cuando voy a pagar y me cobran la habitación superior con todos los servicios extras. Comenté la situación en la recepción durante el check out, pero no hizieron caso.

é impossivel não ficar impressionado com o design, conforto e bom gosto de todos os espaços do Convento de Belmonte. Os funcionários são de uma disponibilidade, delicadeza e simpatia extraordinários. Do melhor que pude experienciar até hoje. O Restaurante Gourmet é uma de uma qualidade indescritivel... Será necessário provar para perceber a maravilha de sabores que proporcionam.

Não gostei de ter ficado apenas 1 noite... Gostaria de ficar mais.
