I loved everything: the staff, the Souto Moura interpretation, having dinner in a 800-year old room, the food, the huge fireplace where you can curl up with a book, the lovely surroundings, the church nearby and the the easy access to all Peneda-Gerês.

For me it was magic to stay in such a place. In an old monestery, well kept, calm, good service, pool, on the countryside, beautiful rooms with an oldstylish balcony. We didn´t travel by car, although it was very easy to find our way by bus. It takes 50 min from Braga and the bus stops just outside the Pousada. The employees speaks good english. If it had cost less I would have stayed longer. Beeing in Portugal I thought we just had to visit a Pousada at least once.

A beleza e história do edifício, a simpatia e profissionalismo dos funcionários, o serviço de restaurante e a qualidade dos alimentos - as cadeiras é que são pouco confortáveis. é certamente um excelente lugar para relaxar… Tendo em conta o valor que se paga pelo alojamento, a decoração dos quartos é minimalista os chuveiros não têm pressão, a água quente demora demasiado a “chegar”, os produtos de higiene na casa de banho são o mínimo possível, roupão de banho… não há, etc. São pormenores que fazem a diferença. Quando se paga uma tarifa elevada, espera-se ter as “mordomias” correspondentes.

Localização boa, perto do Gerês e de vários locais de interesse. Restauro do convento muito bem conseguido, espaço muito agradável e romântico. Bom pequeno-almoço. Decoração dos quartos não acompanham restante espaço. Relação Preço/Qualidade do Restaurante, um pouco acima.

A Pousada situa-se numa das mais belas regiões de Portugal e merece que se refira o notável trabalho realizado a partir de um mosteiro para o adaptar a uma unidade hoteleira com prestigio,apesar de nem todas as soluções parecerem conseguidas. O quarto onde fiquei era funcional mas sem o conforto que esperaria de um Hotel desta categoria. A decoração é minimalista ,o acesso à Recepção e ao piso superior não é prático e o parking surpreende por ser tão inadequado

Pousada con encanto situada en un antiguo monasterio restaurado con criterios modernos, con un resultado extraordinario.Personal muy amable y sevicios adecuados. Esta un poca alejada pero merece la pena.

O que gostei mais foi sem dúvida da restauração do Convento realizada por Souto Moura aliada à sua decoração. é realmente Soberba, a sua localização num espaço bucólico tb é de realçar. Uma das coisas que não apreciei, foi o colchão da cama, pois gosto dele duro! O que não se verificou...bastante mole...

O edifício do convento é lindíssimo! Bom trabalho de recuperação feito pelo arquitecto Souto Moura. De resto, tudo fraco! Falta quase tudo! Mobiliário das áreas comuns é inexistente. Quartos exíguos, mal insonorizados e sem confortos básicos. Chuveiro sem pressão. Saídas de emergência bloqueadas e mal assinaladas. Péssima relação preço/qualidade!
