We loved our stay there. The hotel being a former convent was had great wide corridors, a great sense of being on your own. The staff were so friendly and helpful. |

The kindness and help of the girl at the Reception. The room perfectly clean and the atmosphere of the XIII century monastery in which the hotel is really located. The cuisine of the Restaurant carried out at a not very high level. |

Lovely room with the former convent ambiance. Very varied and plentiful breakfast. Quiet and calm atmosphere. Restaurant was very expensive compared to others in the town. |

The quality, ambiance, feeling of serenity, plenty of small sitting areas. Breakfast was really fabulous, staff very friendly and helpful. Noisy and inefficient air conditionining. Lighting in the bedrooms was rather dim, so difficult to read by (this is not a complaint, just an observation). |

Stunningly beautiful hotel in former convert, with vast communal areas. Friendly and helpful staff. High quality food served in lovely vaulted dining room. Some people might prefer a slightly larger bedroom, though this did not bother us. |

The ballad singer at the restaurant in the evening was amazing and simply made the evening, even though most of the guest ignored him! Small touches that were appreciated, complementary biscuits and juice at reception. Beautiful linen and comfortable beds. 3 Euros for the bottle of water in the room. Torn curtain in the main hall |

This is not a top-of-the-range pousada, but the medieval setting in this delightful town gives the hotel considerable charm, and the quality/price element is good. Excellent breakfast. |

A qualidade das instalações que associam a componente histórica ao conforto e eficácia que é esperado de uma pousada deste nível. A qualidade da piscina deixava algo a desejar, quer no fundo da mesma que apresentava piso irregular, quer na qualidade da àgua que também nao era muito boa. |

Zeer mooi hotel in een historisch kader, propere en confortabele kamer, zeer goed bed, een beetje ouderwetse badkamer (vervang het douchegordijn door een glazen wand en de badkamer krijgt plots een moderner tintje) een uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Het onthaal was minimaal. De weg naar de kamers werd niet uitgelegd, de verschillende diensten van het hotel evenmin. Er was geen stadsplannetje te krijgen. er stond een fles water op de kamer maar er moest wel 3 euro voor betaald worden. De kaart van het restaurant nodigde echt niet uit om er te blijven eten. |

La Pousada est tout simplement magnifique et le restaurant est excellent. Nous avons adoré l'année dernière, nous y sommes retournés cette année et nous y retournerons l'année prochaine Les chambres sont un petit peu décevantes... mais on l'oublie vite face à la beauté de l'établissement |
