The staff were very helpful with suggestions about places to visit, transport, etc. The location was great, about 10 minutes walk to the centre, 20 minutes to the great bars and restaurants district. The price was reasonable for what you get. Coffee was very nice and was real coffee, despite some reviews here saying there was only Nescafe. Although the room was clean, there was a musty damp smell lingering, which I think was because of the age of the building. Breakfast was fresh but very limited. Walls not very soundproof. Also the tv was very small and had no remote control, which might be a negative for some. |

The Palacete decor was lovely and the garden was very relaxing. Staff were very friendly and it was very central and quiet. Staff removed all breakfast food at 10:30, while we were still having our meal. |

charming hotel for those who don´t like spiritless house, tasteful decor, close (walkable) to downtown and close to metro, beautifull garden in 2 floor for rest, good value. simple (but sufficient) breakfast, opened at 8.30 what is not too good for turists |

The staff is very nice. The location is just ten meters to the Metro so you can travel to the Shopping center very easy with a day or week ticket. It is not a soundproof hotel. |

Friendly and helpful receptionists, brand new bathroom facilities, pleasant and clean breakfast area, close to the downtown. Very poorly closing doors, gaps between the wing and frame, and at the doorstep. Very expensive internet fee. Poor conditions at the neighboring. |

In a working-class district of Lisbon, but very close to the metro station and a €12 taxi-ride from the airport. A locally-owned hotel, well run and with very friendly desk staff. The location is 15 minutes away from the tourist areas by metro and this makes it good value and very convenient. The room was well-furnished and the bed comfortable; I slept well. The garden was relaxing and available all day. The orange drink at breakfast. |

An attractive hotel close to the city centre and the metro, with a lovely roof-top garden. The rooms are not very well sound-proofed. |

Relaxed atmosphere. Super clean and efficiently run. Not sure why its in gay listings. Most hotels/ B&Bs are gay friendly, most people I met were straight couples! |

Beautiful rooms!!! Very helpful and always smiling staff. About 10 minutes walking distance from city centre, which is perfect, since you have an opportunity to discover other parts of Lisbon. Or you can take the little cute tram (100m from the hotel) directly to the city. The area is very multicultural, but it doesn't mean that it is unsafe (as many people would suggest). Nevertheless, maybe not a hotel for single travelers with children. Apart from this exception: Highly recommended!! The check-in at 2pm. We arrived much much earlier... But I must say, that the staff did everything in order to provide us a room as early as possible - with success! So rather a +! |

The Staff are excellent, the garden is awesome, the locatiom is ideal (very close to the Metrop Station). The fee is well worth for the whole stay. The parking is very limited during the day but there's a lot in the evening. Not a stopper to choose this hotel. There's no Aircondition in our room. |

Nice spacious room, friendly staff, nice and simple breakfast, central location, not much noise from traffic. Temporarily hot water, would have liked to have a small desk and chair in the room. |

The beautiful guarden and the location, it's very close proximity to the city centre and other tourist attraction. The bathroom shower tap did not function properly in switching water from the shower function to the tap to fill the bath. |
