Room very good at a good price. Good location for the beach. Only had breakfast. But found it repetitive and after one breakfast we didn't bother again. Staff could try being more friendly.

It is in a great location close to the Atlantic ocean and a quick walk from the bus stop. The pool was really cool, covered on the roof of the hotel, but we didn't get to use it as it closed at 8pm. The view out of our balcony was very pretty, with a view of the ocean and Sitio, the city on the top of the cliff. There are a lot of ladies in this city renting out rooms of their house/apartment if you are looking for a cheaper option. I didn't like one unhelpful staff member who said she would help us figure out transportation out of the city if she had time...we figured it out ourselves. The wireless internet didn't work in our room, and we had some trouble getting it to work in the lobby. Also, to use the pool you had to have a swim cap. My boyfriend didn't have one and had to buy one for 4.5 Euros even to use the jacuzzi. We went up to the pool at 8 after an early dinner to find out that is closed at 8pm.

What I liked best was the location. Not really on the beach but very near. The room was ok for the price we payed but the hotel is too high evaluated. Staff at the reception was indifferent and impersonal. Certainly not a warm welcoming. In the room there were still things that you could see were not cleaned, like the big mirror in the room which was full of fingerprints and dust here and there. Bathroom was OK but a four stars hotel gives at least bath lotion. Not this one. We can miss luxury but if a hotel gives itself four stars it shoul deserve them. This particular one is not worth it.Jacuzzi didn't function, elevators looked dusty ,breakfast was one of the poorest we had ever had in Portugal . One could have breakfast till 10:30. we arrived at 10:00 but there was no more fruit juice (yellow drink),no more eggs, no more fruit and nothing was refilled, coffie was nescafé from a machine .We ate bread and jam and some cake. Staff didn't care. Quite OK in a B&B but not in a so called four stars hotel. We will not go back.

The hotel is very close to the beach (~50 m) with several restaurants and stores nearby. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are large and very comfortable. Hotel Praia is perhaps the best hotel in the area so I do recommend it.

Classy hotel, well located 5 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes from the heart of the town. Located in a town area next to the market with some small local bars and restaurants nearby. Stylish double glazed rooms with balconies and contemporary décor. Small roof pool and terrace. As a 'design' hotel "form follows function" so that must be why; the roof terrace has no sunshades, there is only 1 bedside light, no toilet roll holder, a plastic mattress protector on the bed. Also the underground car-park is 10 Euro and very tight as indicated by numerous paint scrapes - I would park elsewhere. This hotel could be brilliant with a little attention to details and welcome - I would still recommend it though as it is.

The pool with a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean outside on the top of the hotel. It was expensive. The employees grudingly provided us with coffee at 7:00 in the morning.

The hotel was only a few blocks from the beach in Nazare. It was modern and clean and came with a full breakfast buffet (which was just ok). The seaside village of Nazare is like stepping back in time. I would also recommned eating at the Restaurante a Celeste and Restaurante Adega Oceana, right next door to each other. Both restaurants are right down the street from the hotel.

Nice hotel with very nice modern facilities very near Nazare beach. Rooms are tastefully decorated in modern style with balconies. The hotel has a very nice roofttop pool. Staff is very friendly. The only thing which was really bad was breakfast. It is very poor and low quality, and very far from the standard of a four star hotel. Any coffee shop in Nazare offers much better quality breakfast.

“Our room overlooking the beach was superb. Sitting with a little picnic on our private balcony and people watching was a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours. The village is charming with many traditions still apparently part of everyday life here. The staff were unfailingly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to offer things like cutlery and plates so we could enjoy our picnic. They organised an early breakfast for us because we had an early bus to catch. Delightful all round.” Dawn, Auckland |
