Very attentive and helpful staff, good breakfasts, modern decor, and a room with a view overlooking the red tiled rooftops of the city. Reasonable rates and a very good value. Beds were very firm (but we got used to them) and lamps on bed end tables were too dim to read with. |

Very clean and very quiet. Situated up the hill slightly how ever this was perfect to reach the Baxia area which is very relaxing in the day time and very livley in the evening. Not so touristy in this bit which was great. |

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they are really doing a great job at running the hotel and seem to be enjoying it. Breakfasts are very yummy (even though they don't offer much variety). The hotel is not one of those luxurious places but the staff make you feel like you are the most welcome guests in the city. Location is good in terms of proximity to the city attractions (although, yes, you will have to climb to get back home in the evening - but that's Lisbon). We really enjoyed staying there and would sincerely recommend it to anyone going. The neighbourhood looks a bit shabby - but then again, it's Lisbon, and most small streets look like this, in any case - the area seemed safe and has some restaurants and cafes. If you are looking for top-notch modern equipment and interiors, you also may be a tad disappointed. These are two only minor shortcomings I can recall, and they are nothing compared to the merits if the hotel and its staff. |

convenient location, very helpful staff, clean, quiet, and comfortable room, although small by American hotel room standards, beautiful modern bathroom. The full breakfast was well done and tasty. The night desk man, Joao, was surly and unhelpful. Some of the room furnishings appeared to be second-hand - someone's idea of eclectic style, but not particularly well executed. |

It's central location enabled us to visit most of the sights we wanted to see. The staff were very helpful and the views from our top floor room were to die for. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. |

We were informed that the Hotel included Balcony when we checked site and booked. Upon arrival our Room did not have one. However, without fuss we were moved to a another room. Unfortunately the location is sited on a steep hill (probably usual for Lisbon). They provided umpteen foreign newspapers but the only UK item was The FT. We believe a change in this selection should be made. When breakfast is ordered(food very good) everything comes at once i,e, cereal, fruit and cooked items. These should be spaced out. |

Very good services, extremely friendly and dedicated staff. Room was really nice and comfortable for the price. big for a city hotel and the bathroom was great with all marble sink and tub. Unbelievable breakfast included in the price of the room! The room was a little narrow, but I know it was big by city standard! |

This hotel is well located if you want to be near the Bairro Alto, but not right in the thick of it (which could be noisy). The breakfast at this hotel is also exceptionally good! |

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good location close to botanical park, 5 minutes hill-down to metro station Avenida. Nice view once you choose the appartment in the 5th floor. 15 minutes hill-up from the metro station - might be difficult to reach for elderly people (but there are a lot of cheap taxis !!!) |

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and included in the price, the ambience of the hotel (small, intimate), proximity to nightlife, well-appointed bathroom, balcony, clean and modern room I normally prefer to stay at more traditional hotels but was impressed with this small modern hotel. |

Our second stay at this hotel. Very quiet location close to top end of Bairro Alto, near Botanic Gardens. Several neighbourhood restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Hotel breakfasts are excellent and staff are very pleasant. If arriving from Avenida de Liberdade be warned that the hotel is up a steep hill! |
