It was easy to find. It seemed to be in an interesting area during the week. However we arrived on Sunday and it semed to be an abandonned zone to dealers and prostitutes (during the week-end). The area during the week-end and night is dodgy. Prostitutes and unfriendly bars all around, dealers nearby and not very much option for dinner. The quality of the hotel is pretty poor as well: our bedroom was not ready or clean, breakfast was pretty revaulting. It cannot be considered as a 3 star hotel for these conditions and price.

Perfect location, in the centre of Porto. Only a couple of streets away from the metro. Airport can easily be reached by metro. Nice tip: the Porto by night tour, interesting tour and see the all the beautiful features of Porto and do get some nice tips from the local guide Where some problems with the electricity in our room. Breakfast is very simple, much nicer to have breakfast in one of the many coffee shop and would probably be even cheaper as they only charge you 60ct. for a cup of coffee.

Mostly I liked its location. The staff were very nice and acted very professionally. If, and when, I visit Porto, I'll stay at Quality Inn/Batalha.

The location is perfect: the hotel is situated uphill in the city center, 5 minutes from Sao Bento train station, there is a lot of good restaurants nearby and the main shopping street opens to the square where the hotel is. Rooms are very clean. The staff is very nice and speaks fluent english. The hotel was a bit crowded during our stay and during the peak hours (around 9 o'clock) there was a bit of a mess at the breakfast and it was hard to find a ready table. Also, you have to pay for the wifi, but the signal in our room was very low and there were some connection problems.

The hotel has an excellent position. The personal is extremely friendly and helpful especially when travelling with children. The room was very good for the value. I will definitely stay again when travelling to Porto. The room was very clean but there was mildew in the shower. But nothing horrible .)

Excelent location, close to "Centro Histórico". Very easy to get transports, restaurants, shopping... Staff is really cool and breakfast is excelent too. The square in front is a little noising and double screen windows isn't enough to avoid some crazy people screaming in the middel of the night... But isn't hotel's fault at all.

Very friendly receptionist when we arrived (1st May). Told us all about the city and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean and our room was comfortable. The hotel is reasonably high up and a 5 min walk uphill from the nearest metro. Wasn't an issue for us but we also learned about the funicular down near the bridge which was useful if you're heading to or from the water front.

Ordinary Quality Inn hotel. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice lobby area. The location is very good with three restaurants just next to the hotel and a few blocks away from the tube to the airport. The room had a terrace with view over another building, and with a very low fence. Wouldn't recommend that for small children. Breakfast a bit boring, missed som fresh vegetables.

I want to extend my appreciation to the entire hotel staff, in particular to Ms. Maria Jose Santos. She went above to provide everything that we need, reschedule our trip do to air traffic control strike back in November and to coordinate a taxi to pick up at the airport. Truly awesome support. Thank you.

Excellent location. Nice breakfast. Very noisy. You constantly hear doors slamming and heavy footsteps. Could also hear the people in the room above. Long waits for elevators. No real loading zone for loading and unloading the car.

Location Of the 3 hotels we stayed in Portugal, this was the least impressive. The bathroom shower and fixtures were in poor repair and appeared out dated. The bedding and pillows were low quality again compared to other locales at similar prices we stayed at

Good well-placed hotel, very clean and comfortable. Very close to railway station and metro station; the tram and tourist buses stopped just outside hotel also. Breakfast was plentiful and, although very busy on the first two days we stayed, food was very good. The Bar was a great facility too! Staff deserve special mention as they were excellent and very helpful with everything they were asked about. I would thoroughly recommend it.

“I liked everything in Grande Hotel de Paris. The words can't describe enough the beauty of this hotel. It is different than all hotels I've ever stayed in. It's like time has stopped and we're back in the past. I felt like staying in a castle/museum. I recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Porto.” Patricia, Brasov |
