My husband and I had never been to Quarteira before and we would definitely return to the hotel and area. The man at front desk in the evening was extremely friendly and helpful! We had an amazing room with balcony and sea views. We would definitely return to hotel quarteiasol!

Forget about 4*... maybe through the windows during the night, but surely it's a quite good 3 stars hotel. Good breakfast (maybe more vegetables would be applicable), nice room, big bathroom. Quite close to the beach. Excellent quality/price ratio when you book&pay 6 months before. Receptionist allowed me to print my boarding passes - very nice

Empty hair dryer handle, 200 m from the beach, but ocean is visible only from the 7th floor. No garden, very close to other buildings (not nice ...). No free wi-fi. Public parking was free during off-season time but it must be a drama during the summer....

Great location in the center, close to the bus station, ocean and all the bars and restaurants. Nice and clean room, with window and balcony. Very big bathroom with large window. All windows could be opened. Very good price. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Price is, especially compared to neighbouring hotels, pretty decent. It's not in Vilamoura, so if you want to go there it's a short (20 minute) walk along the beach, but that's doable.

As other reviewers mentioned, the breakfast wasn't much to brag about: standard continental stuff. Also: the shampoo/shower gel in my room didn't get restocked; and there weren't any reachable power outlets: none at all in the bathroom (shaving) and only a few beneath bedside tables, which required getting down on the floor to insert plugs.

The room was really nice ,clean the bathroom very big. Location very good. Everything is very close. For example the beach the bus station, restaurants. Staff was friendly end helpful. Big swimming pool. etc. There was a safe in the room!!!!

I booked a 4 night stay at the QuarteiraSol hotel for €278 which I thought it wasn't bad. I did a bit of research and they quoted on various websites that they were located near the sea/beach, includes breakfast and is classed as a four star hotel. Well, first of all, it ain't a four star hotel, but to me a three star hotel. It is clean, well presented and spacious with all the modern amenities but it does get let down on various things. First of all, there isn't many sea view rooms as mentioned on the websites and those rooms are the only ones with huge balconies and probably cost a lot more money. Even some of those rooms are poo as there is another hotel between the QuarteiraSol and the beach which slightly blocks the view. So you need to be on floors 6-9 to get a good view. Still, if you looking for a bargain, then this isn't a bad hotel. On arrival at the 24 hour reception (we arrived at 01:00) we were greeted very well with a great warm welcome, check in was swift and so was the payment. There are two elevators to take us to the room on the 7th floor (we had room 705), which are very small and don't hold that many people. This can be annoying around breakfast time. The hotel room was great and just what we needed. Basic plain furniture, modern television, double bed (no single beds pushed together), safe, fridge and curtains which block out the sunlight very well. The room has air conditioning which is very handy during the daytime. The bed was a bit hard but I still manage to sleep well on it. The bathroom is huge and plenty of space to store toiletries. There is also a bath tub where the shower is positioned. Towels are provided but they are not allowed to be taken to the beach. Also hairdryer provided.

Continued from above - Breakfast was a bit of a let down. It is a buffet breakfast with the usual warm food (bacon strips, fried eggs with loads of fat, scrambled egg, baked beans, mushrooms and sausages which are of a poor quality), pastries, and cold meats. Cereal wasn't bad mind you but the cups of tea was appalling and sometimes the juice machine wasn't either working or switched on. The staff were ok but a bit slow to clear the tables from the dirty plates and left over food from the previous guests. This was not a 4 star hotel breakfast, more of a 2/3 star standard. The handy thing about this hotel is the location. Its in the heart of the resort of Quarteira, and costs between €25-30 to get here by taxi from Faro airport. Its a three minute walk to the beach, but the road which takes you to the beach has a great fish restaurant (a bit pricey, but fantastic food), a great British bar which sells cheap food and drinks, an off licence, an newsagent, ATM machine and an Indian. Also nearby is the post office. Along the seafront is an Irish bar and a few other ice cream stalls and other restaurants, and the beach is fantastic for tanning. Also nearby is the resort of Vilamoura where all the boat tours are, and is around 2km away (and took around 45 minutes on a slow stroll along the beach and pass the market). In all, this hotel is great for location and price. I would recommend this place and would come back here, but don't come here if you want to make a fuss about the food etc. I did warn you, but for budget travelers who want a bit of luxury, then this is the place for you. Did I also mention there are plenty of golf courses nearby?

The location is very good. The bathroom was really big and modern. Nice service to be able to take a shower in the evening on the lastday if your fligt is in the night.

18 squaremeters´room - 8 of them are in the bathroom! If you would like to have a balcony, request it, lots of rooms only have a "French balcony".

Great location, excellent staff - very helpful, room perfect & cleaned to a high standard every morning. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Omgeving rond zwembad en ligstoelen waren vuil (uitwerpselen van vogels) ! Er waren geen handdoeken voorzien voor sauna en stoombad dat is eigenlijk toch het minimum ! En er was geen zone voorzien voor gratis WIFI !

Fui tomar o pequeno almoço ás 7:45 e já estava esgotado, alem do pão com manteiga, pouco mais havia.
