Quinta da Lua  

We loved the welcome, Conceicao and Miguel made us feel so very relaxed, the garden setting is stunning and the pool is divine. The bedroom was very beautiful( although bathroom needed updating) and the breakfast was superb, the best we have ever had and served in a stunning setting. The location is perfect fro lovely Tavira but also is so close to so many wonderful beaches and restuarants.

We would have liked a better bathroom, the shower was over the bath and not easy to manage, also bigger bath towels and a better light in the room for make up etc with a good mirror in the bathroom , also a proper hairdryer as the one on the wall just did'nt get hot enough or powerful enough to ever dry our hair but these were all very small points and would not stop us returning ,particularly as Miguel told us that he was updating the bathrooms soon.

It s great place! A nice swimming pool, clean and well-decorated rooms. We had a very good time here, combining the pool with some nice beaches. At the quinta, they'll advice you about the beaches.

The owner does a good job here. You see that everything is well organised in this place. And OK, the personnel is not English speaking, but they're very autentic :-) and trying to do the right thing. Though I can imagine that in a place that's so client-orientated as this one, it must be frustrating for them as they do not always understand the client needs. A good English course would help.

Immaculate in design and detail with excellent staff making the stay relaxing and totally without pressure.

Havre de paix ... confort maximum ... petit déjeuner sublime on ne devait rester qu'une nuit, on est resté trois !!! un peu cher, cependant ...

L'accueil est exceptionnel , attentionné. Le confort des chambres, le silence,la propreté et la qualité du linge de maison également. Trés bonne adresse pour se reposer au soleil.

Tres belle chambre, tres beau jardin, et excellent petit déjeuner - Piscine agréable, bref un excellent moment de détente dans cet hotel qui est plus une chambre d'hôte

.Het ontbijt was fantastisch, buiten in de schaduw. Heerlijk vers fruit, verse jus en verse broodjes. Hulde aan de kok die alles in haar eentje deed. De tuin is ook prachtig.

De eigenaar is een arrogante kwast die nauwelijks de moeite nam om ons te ontvangen. We moesten onze koffers zelf een paar honderd meter dragen. Er was geen personeel om te helpen. Ook nam hij niet de moeite om aanwezig te zijn toen we af wilden rekenen, hoewel hij gebeld werd door een personeelslid. Het hotel past in een "woon/design" tijdschrift. Het design was zo ver doorgevoerd dat er geen ijskastje in de kamer was, geen prullebak, geen waterkokertje. We vroegen ons af hoe het met de brandveiligheid van het pand staat. Door het rieten plafond heen zag je piepschuim zitten! Wij vonden het buitensporig duur. Kwamen net uit Lissabon waar we voor minder dan de helft van de prijs in een fantastisch hotel hadden gezeten. Hier was klant echt koning.

Wij zijn hier twee nachten geweest en dit was eigenlijk te weinig. Het is een kleine, mooie en rustige locatie, geweldig ingericht, fijne bedden, heerlijk zwembad en het ontbijt is fantastisch (met broodjes, veel vers fruit en versgeperst sinaasappelsap). Elke dag werd schoongemaakt. Het personeel doet zeer veel moeite om deze kwaliteit te leveren. Super!

Het ligt vrij afgelegen, dus coördinaten of een goede routebeschrijving zijn zeker nodig! Tijdens ons verblijf was het (behalve een kleine sandwich) helaas niet mogelijk te lunchen of dineren. Verder zijn de balkons afgescheiden door kleine planten en hebben niet erg veel privacy. De kamers zijn ook wel redelijk gehorig. Maar dit alles zijn details en het blijft een geweldige locatie. Wij gaan zeker een keer terug!
