Attention to detail, quirky little touches that make the place so special. Delicious breakfast.
That we were there for such a short time!
Comfort, great food, excellent service
Pretty much everything, dogs barking can be annoying at night
Great place, relaxing spa-like property and extremely comfortable accommodations ... Miguel was a great host and the staff went out of their way to make you stay memorable, a must stay I in the area.
This slightly hidden sanctuary brings you peace to mind. It accomodates your need for charging your batteries in the most beautiful way. The garden is spectacular, the rooms are estetically great designed and the staff are very nice and serviceminded. The food is delicious, for all of your senses.
Everything!!! The grounds are unbelievingly beautiful. The staff is incredibly attentive, polite, and thoughtful. The view from the upper floor rooms is stunning across the farmlands all the way to the ocean. Every aspect of Quinta da Lua is well thought out and smartly designed.
The location is only slightly away from Tavira central, which turned out to be an additional asset. The grounds are even more serene with no sounds of traffic or people. You will want to stay here indefinitely!
I loved everything. The gracious hosts, the serene beauty of the property. The chef is superb and Miguel , makes your life pure bliss
Having to leave so soon
the beauty of the place, the beauty of the well kept garden, the interior decoration and style. Very good beds and bedding. Large swimming pool. Very attractive and quiet.
the internet was way too slow and not always on. The air-conditioning was broken, there was no one on property to fix it (at night). Thus we slept poorly because of musquitos. Breakfast was too simple: coffee not from an espresso machine, no eggs.
Beautifull gardens, kind staff, very Good and comfortable room, very Nice breakfast . Enough to see in the area. Near the airport. We Will absolutely come back and recommand this beautifull place
Take a night to have dinner at this lovely hotel. The cook is excellent. I am gluten free so I appreciated the fact that they took such care. They went out of their way to make sure that I was well taken care of.. Miguel the owner is a wealth of information so try to follow his lead when it comes to eating out and visiting the right towns so that you get the real flavor of this area. The grounds are beautiful and if you need a hideaway just to chill out, this is a marvelous place to relax. I felt like I stayed In a five star hotel. Every detail was taken care of. Did I mention that they serve you breakfast on your terrace every morning?
That we had to leave so soon.
Great setting, gardens were beatiful. Staff attention second to none. fantastic food and very clean.
Bedroom was a little dark
This was our second visit since 2007. It was just as good this time as it was on our previous visit except the garden had been landscaped and was beautiful. The rooms are finished to a very high standard with an eye for detail, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental consisting of fruits cereal, breads cheeses hams etc. If you have a superior room it is laid out and served on your own terrace, a real treat! We had dinner a couple of nights and the food was delicious and ambiance very romantic. The Hotel is in an idyllic setting and very peaceful and relaxing. A car is recommended. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I'd highly recommend Quinta da Lua and will be going back there again.
100 % score which is only possible for people who realy understand this business and Michael (the owner) does.
