It was a super relaxing comfortable spacious hotel with good gardens and two swimming pools, and good sea swimming too. Well positioned for easy walking access to Funchal, and for levada walking. It is in the best area for good resturants. We could not fault it. |

We liked the food and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were excellent/ The size of the bathroom and the lighting was poor in the room. I use contact lensess and we like to read. The leaves in the Quinta pool. |

I liked the exremely attractive layout of the hotel with terraces, gardens and pools over-looking the sea. It has a very individual architecture and feel about it, unlike the majority of hotels in the area. I didn't eat main meals in the hotel but the breakfasts were very good, both cooked food and the plentiful fresh fruit. |

Staff personel was very helpful and nice. Really loved the location and the nature/countryside around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to either couples for a romantic week or singles who can easily enjoy the night life in Funchal. thank you |

Very little. No airport shuttle. Despite requesting, and confirming, that we required non-allergenic bedding they kindly used wool blankets to aggravate both my skin and my breathing. General lack of interest in their guests. |

Hotelli erinomaisella paikalla 10 min kävely ydinkeskustaan., Todella siisti ja hyvin hoidettu, Kauniisti, kodikkaan romanttisesti sisustettu, Madeiralaisittain pieni, monivivahteinen ja kotoisa. Ihana puutarha, viihtyisä aamiaisterassi ja ruokailuravintola, eläviä kukia joka paikassa, huoneessa kynttilä, kauniit näkymät sekä puutarha- että merinäköalallisille. Ystävällinen palvelu.Toiveitamme kuultiin erinomaisesti. |

A Educacao e presteza dos funcionarios. Acho que falta um pouco mais de cuidado com as instalacoes. e o cafe da manha eh um pouco pobre em opcoes. |

Ouderwetse charme op wandelafstand van het oude stadsgedeelte van Funchal. Erg vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend restaurant, alles zeer verzorgd! Tuin en zwembad nodigen uit tot volledige rust. Spijtig echter dat wegeniswerken in de buurt voor lawaaihinder zorgden, maar hieraan heeft het hotel natuurlijk geen schuld. De kamers waren gelukkig geluidsdicht, en de airco welkom. |

Boa localização, bons quartos e jardim e piscina agradáveis. Durante a noite desligavam o ar condicionado (na central), pelo que a ventilação continuava a funcionar mas o ar que saía não era fresco e o quarto ficava bastante abafado. |

Le plaisir de vivre dans une quinta traditionnelle (150 ans) ,au milieu de son jardin tropical,tout en bénéficiant d'un confort actuel.Un restaurant excellent rapport/ qualite prix .Une très bonne situation de l'hôtel(voisin Carlton et Reids ).Des personnels irréprochables . Un rève à partager.... |

Sa situation proche de la ville et près de la mer. Le jardin. Cet hôtel est affiché 4 étoiles et la chambre 38 que nous avons occupée était juste une chambre de 2 étoiles en France (toilettes à l'intérieur de la salle de bains, superficie de la chambre........) L'accès au niveau de la mer est très compliqué. |
