This hotel is a must if you go near Lisbon. Stay at least 2 nights to enjoy the huge courtyard that it has.

The fact that we only stayed one night.

Helpful, cheerful staff. Breakfast.. (Particularly, Freshly squeezed orange juice, home made cake, jams and baked bread). Lovely setting and safe for youngsters. Room layout spacious.

Quinta ..... Not clearly displayed on arrival from outside. I would thoroughly recommend and nothing negative about the stay.

Probably my favorite place to stay during my 6-week journey through much of Europe. This inn maintains the true charm of the really old, old- world Portugal-- elegant furniture, spacious rooms and grounds, lovely gardens, clean pool, huge center courtyard paved with stones. Quiet, handy location--beach is just across the street, many wonderful restaurants are just a few meters away, everything is within a very short walking distance. The inn serves a beautifully presented breakfast-- linens and silverware--in the open courtyard each morning. The breads are especially delicious! Hard-working, pleasant staff.

Wifi works only in lobby/breakfast area. Difficult to locate the inn because of poor signage. Current on-grounds staff did not speak English.

Romantic, old building and rooms with several modern facilities. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Close to river with spectacular view.

Lack of viewable directions to the hotel - very difficult to find, especially when moving from bus station. No internet connection, what was opposite to advertised. The stuff didn't speak English at all. That caused lots of problems: ordering taxi early in the morning was almost mission impossible. The breakfast was offered only starting from 8:00 AM despite I had to leave the hotel before 6:00. With big efforts I succeeded to have some fruits, juice and cakes. Moderate coffee in a vacuum bottle was presented as a gorgeous bonus only after insistent claims.

Very nice location close to the sea with beautiful view on Lisbon, nice garden and patio. Lots of good restaurants in Alcochete.

Apartment rather small for family with 3 teenagers, not very clean and some areas need some refurbishing (e.g. flaking walls and bath).

    - nice breakfast outside - very clean swimming pool

    - in and around the house, the impression is that everytthing is a bit old and needs some refurbishment - village under construction

A glorious hotel in beautiful old buildings. Huge room, big bathroom, pool, gardens, and a fantastic breakfast. Plus, just across the road, is a water front bar. Staff were super.

There was nothing not to like!

when we book they have not given the proper way to reach the hotel.we are International travellers. They must give a specific picture to reach the Hotel,by bus or train, the stopping we must get down. The hotel is in side of a big green metal gate and the name board is small, just 1.5 foot*1.5 foot.It was very hard to find the place. On the way way they filled with round stones,it was hard to roll the luggages. The property owneners have no kind heart. The staffs have no knowledge of English.
