Cancellation
If cancelled up to 16 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
Children and extra beds
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Any extra bedding is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
Deposit
20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
It is not a good place for people with mobility problems.
For guests staying in the rooms, breakfast and dinner can be taken in the ancient kitchen or in the garden. Breakfast is a small but very complete buffet.
Dinner is a set menu of wholesome country food. The food we serve is generally not available in restaurants, and is based on local dishes.
A fixed menu dinner of local country food is available to
guests, and is served in the garden during spring and summer.
All rooms face the south and the sea. The 3 rooms on the upper floor have a great view of the sea over the vineyard. The 3 rooms on the lower floor open directly onto the terrace and the garden.
Some of the cottages have the bedroom open mezzanine.
They all have good views to the mountain and the sea.
There are also good mountainbiking trails in Fonte do Bispo, not to mention all the walking possibilities.
We are also 5 minutes by car from the golden beach at Calheta. This can be crowded in Summer, but is blissful in winter and spring.
Calheta also boasts a fabulous arts complex, Casa das Mudas, which is architecturally stunning to see, even if there are no exhibitions at the time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Peace and quiet. Nice breakfast and good value evening meals. Lovely pool and gardens. People who flush the loo in the room above several times during the night!! |

An "away from it all" semi-rural location. Excellent views, friendly staff, and very clean. You do need a car! We booked a hotel room, but on arrival were told it was not available and moved to a cottage. Continental breakfast was provided, but no evening meals available. Instead we were given a list of local resturants, which proved to be excellent. It was not good value for money, the next hotel we stayed at was far, far better, but virtually the same price! |

Séjour très agréable dans un environnement calme et reposant. Toute léquipe est aux petits soins pour nous erndre le séjour agréable. Lieu de charme ou il est agreable de prendre un bain après une randonnée, de partager un diner ou prendre un dernier verre au salon en admirant l'architecture et la renovation de la maison faite avec soin. |

Sehr schöne Anlage auf einem alten Weingut, gut über die Schnellstraße erreichbar. Das historische Herrenhaus mit seinen Aufenthaltsräumen hat besonders viel Charakter, die Ferienhäuschen (cottages) sind gut ausgestattet, relativ großer Pool. Gute Ausgangsbasis für Inselerkundung und Wanderungen, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. |

La situation, la vue, la piscine. Le cottage s'apparente plus à une location qu'à un hôtel. Par exemple, il faut faire son petit-déjeuner soi-même avec les victuailles fournies par la quinta. |

Bardzo miła atmosfera i obsługa, czuliśmy się jak w domu. Na booking.com powinny byc wyraźnie oddzielone kategorie: pokój lub domek. My myśleliśmy, że bukujemy pokój, a dostaliśmy domek. Moim zdaniem domek był bardzo przyjemny, ale wyobrażam sobie, że ktoś móglby byc niezadowolony z takiej niespodzianki. |

Hôtel très sympathique, agréable, meublé à l'ancienne, loin de la foule. La table d'hôte est simple mais excellente. Il n'y a que six chambres (et des cottages séparés) ce qui le rend très convivial. |

La tranquilité, le calme, cet hôtel étant situé loin d'une ville agitée.Le service du petit déjeuner car nous étions en cottage et non en chambre dans la maison principale et nous avons eu tous les jours le nécessaire ; chaque produit épuisé était remplacé sans avoir à demander. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel. Il faut savoir que l'hôtel se situe dans la colline et si vous êtes logés en cottage, la côte est dure à remonter pour accéder à la maison principale. A déconseiller pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher. Nous ne pouvons pas donner notre avis sur les repas car nous n'avons dîner qu'un soir (soupe de poisson - poulet pâtes - tarte tatin) c'était copieux. |

De ligging in de (nog werkende wijnboerderij), de kwaliteit van de huisjes (prima onderhouden, van veel gemakken voorzien zoals een knusse open haard met hout), alles loopt daar lekker en het personeel wil steeds meedenken/helpen. Hyggelige murhus, men området ligger langt utenfor allfarvei. Må bruke bil, uansett hvor man skal. Vi var der i desember med mye regn. Husene er iskalde, med rå trekk og svært vanskelig å varme opp. Som de andre gjestene, frøs vi hele tiden. Frokosten var intet å skryte av. Vi fikk rundstykkene levert på døren hver morgen. Intet annet. I helligdagene var rundstykkene alt annet enn ferske. Bedre oppvarmingsmuligheter, frokost som ikke bare består av tørre rundstykker, informasjon om handlemuligheter, osv. |
