Quinta De Tourais

A very tasteful property with great hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were comfortabal, excellent bathroom.

We had dinner on one of the nights and I thought it a little over priced.

Manuela is a wonderful welcoming host. So many spaces to be in and enjoy.

Please make sure you have detailed directions from Regua. It's not difficult, but you do need to know!

Very well located for visiting the Douro Valley. Fantastic view from pool side terrace. Very friendly staff/owners. The meal option is very worthwhile (we had great fish with risotto).

The place is difficult to find as the address provided is incomplete. It should clearly state that it is located right on the N222. The GPS coordinates do not fit into a Garmin GPS.

Manuela and her family were very friendly and welcoming. Their property is stunning and we had the opportunity to taste the lovely wine that they produce at their family-run Quinta. It is a very relaxing place to stay with a kitchen and lounge area to relax and interact with other guests, beautiful courtyard and swimming pool overlooking the countryside.

Extremely Hospitable hosts - it was like we belonged to their family. The views are breathtaking. Completely redone by the architect owner. Just outside Regua - quiet, enchanting - a perfect resting spot and the wine they produce is superb. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely nothing.

What made the stay memorable was the warm hospitality of the couple managing the place. The room was clean and spacious.

We liked the location and the great hospitality of the Quinta. It was easy to find and has excellent parking facilities. The owners are very friendly and invited us for a visit to the winery and a wine tasting in the evening. Dinner and breakfast where very good and served with there own wine The beds are big enough and oke Because of the season we did not use the swimming pool but it seems to be nice to sit here in a warm evening The location just outside Peso da Requa is excellent to discover the Douro region and several Quinta’s and the new location of Quinta do Seixo from Sandeman Enjoy a train trip from requa or pinhao to pocinho or a small boat trip from Oinhao to Tua Even Vila Real and Lamego wich is nearby is wort to visit

Manuela and Fernando were excellent hosts, they gave us a tour of their property which has been in the family for over 300 years. We tried grape stomping and loved it! Would recommend this activity to everyone. The grounds are amazing, with fruit trees all around and vineyards everywhere. It's very serene and quiet with many great authentic restaurants. Manuela made us freshly squeezed juice in the morning and it was the best we've tried! Their lemons and pomegranates are the sweetest!

Simply fantastic - not enough words to describe the outstanding hospitality and generosity of the owners, Manuela & Fernando. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every single moment. A must visit and stay for anyone travelling through the Douro river. When people look back at their holiday and remember how magical it was, they're talking about these kind of places. Thank you Manuela & Fernando!

Nothing. Honestly

Everything was great. Small pool with open view to the vineyards, excellent room to be with friend and big kitchen to cook if you want to. Staff is very nice and the owners are great company if you want to know a bit more about the place and the surroundings.

A very pleasant place with great host. Our room was beautiful with lovely view. . Breakfast was very tasty, Lot of public areas to share a nice eveing with the other guests or hosts. The owners welcomed us warmly and made a great effort for the guests convenience and are so friendly' helpfull and kind. Location is great for quite vacation and good connection to the roads and boats around. Its for sure better then being in the next crowded city of Regua. We loved it and would be happy to come back.

No coffee facilities in the room. Wi-Fi in room is not always works- so you should go to the public area.

We stayed at this Quinta for only one day. We wished we could stayed for more nights! The place is beautiful! Nice rooms and excellent service from the owners. We were received with Porto cocktails and we tried their delicious wine. The owner gave us a ride to town, since we didn't want to drink and drive. We highly recommend this place, it is all that you need for a fantastic relaxing time!

This Quinta was simply brilliant!The owner Manuela was a perfect host! The setting,local area etc was stunning.A wonderful place to chill out. We will return.

The owners who run this place are great people. Hospitality of premium kind. Excellent for every one especially for wine lovers.

Wonderful, beautiful accommodation in the most idyllic setting, in the middle of lots of vineyards. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast in their kitchen was the best in our trip, especially the coffee and the home-made jams and orange juice. Rooms are clean and basic, yet reflecting the monastery history, but with modern comfort.

We only wish we had had more time to spend there, this is very much a place where your soul will rest!

Views of the Douro valley were stunning. Hosts friendly & helpfull. Swimming pool, though small, was clean & very welcome after a long hot drive.

A beleza da quinta e da paisagem do Douro, aliados à simpatia dos anfitriões, faz deste local um destino perfeito para descansar e desfrutar da riqueza da região. Ficámos muito bem instalados, pois as condições da quinta são óptimas. É uma experiência a repetir!

De omgeving,het gebouw en de ontvangst is een verademing na een dagrit met de auto. Een aanrader.

É um lugar perfeito para conhecer de fato os habitos de quem vive no Douro. Além da propriedade ser incrivelmente bem cuidada em todos os detalhes, o casal, Manuela e Fernando, donos da Quinta, recebem a todos os hospedes como convidados da família. São soliciotos, atenciosos...muito queridos! O quarto em que ficamos hospedado foi ótimo, super limpo, roupa de cama e toalhas cheirosas, tudo muito bom! O café da manhã também muito bem servido, com suco de fruta da própria Quinta. Adoramos a experiência, pena só termos ficado 2 dias. Sem dúvida, voltaríamos!

האירוח היה חם ולבבי. החדר היה גדול מרווח ומאובזר ברמה גבוהה. המקום מנוהל על ידי משפחה מקסימה ולהם גם יקב במקום. ארוחת הערב והבוקר שהוכנו עלי די בעלת הבית, היו טעימים ומוגשים בשולחן חגיגי ומרשים.

Familiäre Unterkunft, sehr freundlicher Kontakt zu der Besitzerfamilie. Man spricht auch Englisch/Franz. Damit man die richtige port. Küche kennenlernt, sollte man auch mal im Kreise der Familie essen. Ist eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Haus ist voller Kunst.
