Everything. We were given a wonderful welcome from the owners. We were treated like old friends. We could not have wanted more. It was the best place we have stayed in along the Historical Way of the Rota San Vicentina. They understood all our needs as walkers even preparing a special meal for us. The breakfast was the best ever. We will always try and stay in places that are run by the owners because it is their home. This place is special and we would go out of our way to visit again.

Quinta do Chocalinho is a peaceful and beautiful place in Alentejo surrounded by nature and near enough from the niciest beaches in Alentejo. In the "Quinta" there are some animals (chickens, ducks, cheeps, donkey, etc) and you can make big walks inside the farm. The swimming is also very relaxing. Margarida and Luís were excelent hosts with great recomendations of places to visit, beaches to discover and restaurants where to eat! Thank you very much;) we will deffinetely come back!

Extrememly good place to stay, really friendly staff, very pleasant owner, open to all questions, and had the time to answer any of our needs. Also gave us beers on the house, and mosquitoe repellent.

A lot of mosquitoes, but thats not your fault, the accommodationa dn staff are perfect!!!

Quinta do Chocolinho is truly an outstanding place to enjoy. The location is wonderful, situated in a valley on its own and surrounded by fields, hills and trees of various kinds including cork trees. Many different types of birds can be seen. This is a relaxing, peaceful place to stay, and the accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and of an extremely high quality. The owner, who also lives on-site, really went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too trouble for him, he really takes the meaning of customer service to a whole new level. We have never anywhere in our travels come across anyone who appears so naturally helpful with such a genuine desire to make our stay memorable. Breakfast is fantastic - choice, quality and freshness. Probably the best breakfast we have ever had anywhere we have stayed. Quinta do Chocolinha is a very special place to stay!

Arrived late afternoon on a bike and was greeted with a free beer. Louis gave us a lift into town and dropped us off at the best restaurant. There was no need to worry about getting home as we had offers of two lifts back to the hotel. In the evening we shared a bottle of local wine with our host. The breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and how the food was served Very enjoyable stay would recommend a stay but arrive earlier than we did to enjoy the facilities at the hotel.

Can't think of anything that was a problem - Any requests were dealt with immediately by the hosts.

Mooi gerestaureerde authentieke hoeve. Grote kamers met alle modern comfort. We werden warm en gastvrij onthaald door de eigenaars. Heerlijk avondmaal en royaal ontbijtbuffet. Zeer behulpzame mensen, brachten ons 's mogens zelfs naar de bushalte in Odemira.

Aussergewoehnlich freundlicher Empfang und Betreuung waehrend unseres Aufenthaltes; sehr gutes Abendessen in sehr guter Atmosphaere mit Aperitif, Wein als Essensbegleiter und Digestif. Und nach dem Fruehstueck wurde mir, als Teetrinker, noch ein Espresso im Freien angeboten, um in aller Ruhe Abschied von der umgebenden Natur zu nehmen!

Simpatia dos Donos, pequeno almoço digno de deuses. Se fizerem uma refeição na quinta de certeza que não se vão esquecer. A zona da piscina é fantástica

Não tem relação direta com a Quinta do Chocalhinho, mas nas imediações é complicado encontrar bons restaurantes.

O espaço é bastante agradável e acolhedor. O pequeno-almoço é excelente e a simpatia do pessoal é de louvar!

Sehr gastfreundlich und um die Gäste persönlich bemüht. Hervorragende Küche und viele Produkte aus der eigenen Landwirtschaft. Schone musik im Hindergrund Jederzeit wieder.

Heel gastvrije mensen. Echt aandacht van alle mensen verbonden aan het hotel. De omgeving. De rust. Het heel goede ontbijt, kom je alleen thuis tegen

Einfach unbeschreiblich: man fährt von der Hauptstraße ab in ein Nebental. Dort findet man nach einer kurzen Strecke ein wunderschönes Tal vor, welches das Hotel komplett allein für sich hat. Die freundliche Begrüßung incl. der Vorstellung der gesamten Familie incl. der Tiere stimmt auf einen erholsamen Aufenthalt ein. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, neu renoviert. Ein Blick in die Appartments zeigte uns, dass auch diese wunderschön sind. Das Tal gehört zum Hotel und lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Das Frühstück war das Beste, was jemals in einem Hotel bekommen haben: selbstgemachte Marmeladen und frische Früchte direkt vom Feld kommen auf den Tisch. Die Tips der Eigentümer für Ausflüge haben wir gern wahrgenommen.

La beauté du bâtiment, le confort des chambres, les petits déjeuners, le repas du soir préparé spécialement pour nous qui étions à pied et la gentillesse des propriétaires qui se sont occupés de moi, qui m'ont amené au centre de santé pour me faire soigner et qui ne m'ont quittée que lorsqu'ils m'ont mise dans un taxi pour rejoindre mon hébergement suivant.

Da simpatia dos proprietários que nos fazem sentir em casa. Do excelente pequeno almoço que só de lembrar faz crescer água na boca e do horário tardio. Da temperatura da água da piscina. De todo o espaço envolvente e de como está cuidado. Da atmosfera que se respira e da calma que se sente contribuindo para o relaxamento tanto físico como psicológico nos dias stressantes que vivemos. Muito obrigado.

Tolle Lage in den Hügeln des Alentejo. Sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeiteri/innen. Gutes Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten. Meerwasser-Pool, viele Tiere (Esel, Schafe etc.)

- la chaleur de l'accueil et les nombreuses petites attentions, - le repas fait avec des légumes de la ferme, alors que l'établissement n'a pas de restaurant. Comme nous pensions arriver tard et que la Quinta est en dehors du centre ville, nous avions demandé s'il était possible d'avoir un repas à l'arrivée. - la piscine, - la terrasse privative devant notre chambre

- nous aurions préféré une climatisation à un simple ventilateur, mais fin septembre le climat était très suportable

O pequeno almoço é absolutamente espetacular! As instalações são muito boas, o local é uma fuga ao stress. Ouve-se o silêncio!!!

Lamentamos não ser possivel tomar uma refeição ligeira ao jantar. Quanto ao demais ... perfeito!

Dit is een fantastisch hotel voor mensen die van landelijke plekken houden. Alles was even verzorgd en heel net. Oook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn bijzondere mensen die veel verhalen hebben over hun leven in Macao.

Um espaço pautado pelo bom gosto e simpatia dos proprietários e funcionários da Quinta. O local ideal para relaxar e desligar das rotinas do quotidiano. Os espaços dentro da quinta proporcionam aos hóspedes uma sensação de bem-estar e ao mesmo tempo de estarem inseridos num ambiente familiar, existindo um equilíbrio no que toca à decoração dos espaços entre o tradicional e o moderno. Os pequenos almoços têm uma qualidade acima da média. Muito bom!
