The position of the hotel and the good natured assistance of the staff. The self catering room was extremely poorly fitted out, with regards to basic living comforts (heating and furniture) and cooking facilities and the utensils were just not good enough for a modern, self catering apartment. |

A very nice place, the Family Studio is quite big, the kitchen good equiped, the location convenient within the walking range. If you are not keen on walking up on the steep road go to the city by bus or car :) Wonderful view from the balcony. |

the room was fantastic, and the grounds were beautiful. the pool although too cold to enter in december was also clean and safe. The manager arranged our transfers and car hire which was great and our car got dropped off and picked up. reception was not open much, this may be due to time of year but we didnt meet anyone other than the taxi driver who showed us to our room until a few days in. however, i had spoken to the manager on the phone and she had left us a letter in our room. |

Very quiet and private and everything was as descibed Only problem was location - it was not near any bars/restaurants etc but busses and taxis were available and cheap |

self catering, possibility to have breakfast and dinner if ordered in advance. buffet dinner organised once a week. staff would book any trips, excursions, taxi you require. Very kind and ready to help. Location up the hill, away from the noise and traffic of the city if you are willing to do a steep 20 minutes walk. Worth the effort. The 1st apartment we got wasn't the one booked online. There was a construction site just opposite our apartment with works starting a 8am including on Saturdays. This was not mentioned during the booking, neither during email exchanges after booking, but we were moved in a 2nd apartment block higher up in the quinta and away from the construction site on the 2nd day. Much better and quieter. |

Heerlijk rustige ligging, met de bus (31) in 5 min in het centrum.Prachtige tuin en zwembad. Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Wel zelf kunnen koken maar toch de luxe, dat er schoon werd gemaakt. Attent, behulpzaam personeel. Was overal tevreden over. |

très bon accueil, bon emplacement par rapport à la vue sur la mer, hotel très calme et très sécurisé, chambres très spacieuses, jardins magnifiques, belle piscine. la petite cuisine est bien mais pas assez équipée en vaisselle. |

Die Lage, allerdings nur wenn ein Auto vorhanden ist. Desweiteren die private Atmosphäre. Das Hotel liegt unterhalb einer Schule. Früh morgens hört man von dort ballspielende Kinder (Ball wird an die Zaunanlage des Sportplatz geschossen und verursacht damit den Krach, den man sogar auf der anderen Seite der Balkonseite hört). Sind aber wahrscheinlich ganz normale portugisische Verhältnisse. |

Lo mejor el trato recibido por el personal del hotel, es gente encantadora dispuesta a ayudarte en todo lo que puedan. Por otra parte la tranquilidad de la zona y su proximidad al centro. Las instalaiones son un poco viejas y la limpieza no es muy buena. Colchas sucias, sábanas rotas y azulejos un poco polvorientos. |

La vue sur la baie de funchal, la propreté de l'hotel, la superficie du studio le bruit dès 08H00 du matin, il y a des travaux et une grue juste devant les chambres (construction d'un batiment), le couvercle de piles de la télécommande de TV était cassé et le séche cheveux aussi !! |
