Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden

The garden is truly amazing. I also loved the location right in the middle of a real village. Shopping, restaurants and cafés are all available without the need for a trip to Funchal.

As others have said, the room really needed refurbishment. Oh well, I guess that is why the price I got was such a bargain in the first place.

The garden is wonderful, the t1 appartment is indeed a little bit old but with full confort and the situation, out of Funchal, very close to an excellent restaurant and a bakery is much appreciated

The hotel has a great, wide view over the ocean and a very nice, large garden. The pool area is very pleasant - the place actually has a lot of potential.

Both our appartments were uncomfortable, not wellcoming at all: old, outdated, worn-out, unmatched furniture, cold tile floors, very old malfunctioning TV set with only german satelite channels; one of the appartments had an unpleasant, musty smell, as if it had been locked for too long. The beds were far too close to the wide entrance windows, providing little privacy from by-walkers.

Being upgraded to garden/sea view, comfortable bed, small kitchen in the room. Beautiful garden with views.

Charging € 2 per day parking for all guests.

Surroundings, view, great pool, very nice room

Would like to have had more info at check in about facilities also the kettle in our room was broken the water leaked out from the seal at the bottom of the kettle and burnt my hand when I picked it up to make tea.

Bel hôtel de charme idéalement situé entre Funchal et l'aéroport. Jardin botanique et vue splendides.Restauration de qualité, mais nous recommandons pour le rapport qualité prix le restaurant Lareira dans le villlage de Caniço, à 300m de l'hôtel.

Accès à internet insuffisant.

Le jardin, qui était très agréable, et avec une belle variété d'essences. La vue sur la mer. Le calme de l'appartement (50 m2), le fait qu'on pouvait faire la cuisine, tout en bénéficiant du ménage, qui était assuré de façon impeccable.

Les petits déjeuners à 17 €/personne. L'absence de chaîne française à la TV.

Magnifique jardin tropical. Hotel en dehors de Funchal très apréciable.

Mobilier mérite d'être renouvelé.

Excelente trato. el hotel tiene una gran ubicación, en un paraje muy tranquilo, aunque cercano al aeropuerto y la capital, Funchal. Vistas inmejorables sobre el mar y las Islas Desiertas. Entorno espectacular, enmedio de un maravilloso jardin.
