Very human architecture in harmony with the nature. Very well kept gardens an swimming pool area. Good position for exploring Funchal and the rest of the island. Near Canico centar, with the restaurants and other facilities. Charged parking, and the problems with parking space. Furniture in the appartments is out of date. |

The hotel has a great, wide view over the ocean and a very nice, large garden. The pool area is very pleasant - the place actually has a lot of potential. Both our appartments were uncomfortable, not wellcoming at all: old, outdated, worn-out, unmatched furniture, cold tile floors, very old malfunctioning TV set with only german satelite channels; one of the appartments had an unpleasant, musty smell, as if it had been locked for too long. The beds were far too close to the wide entrance windows, providing little privacy from by-walkers. |

The fact that based on the architecture of the hotel you have the feeling of constantly being in a large botanical garden with great views, no matter where you are on this huge property. The staff is extremely helpful as well. |

Its just a small paradise on earth where almost everything is perfect but Madeira is like that staff highly qualified and super friendly Charging the car park at 2 euros a day I find it to be an insult for a guest that spends a good amount of money at the place, must be eliminated |

The landscaped gardens are really lovely and the major attraction. They make the hotel very special. I don't think the Thai restaurant offers a credible alternative to the other two hotel restuarants - the food is not even close to authentic. |

The location was excellent the gardens and layout of the rooms within the grounds very good. It would be useful to have an information book in the rooms, giving details of local amenities, bus routes and how to get about the island. As the hotel was outside the main town apart from the hotel shuttle car into Funchel it was difficult to get about. Fabulous holiday The drinks we thought were a bit pricey compared to the local bars and restaurants. A list of the hotels menus and prices would be useful too. |

The gardens, the charm, the privacy of our studio, the location - near center of Canico with its main square, real atmosphere of the place - not too touristic... Personally I don't mind but it ought to be said that the fittings are quite old - on the other hand it suites the place and gives even more charm, as for me. |

Boasting a tranquil setting not far from Funchal’s centre, this hotel combines modern décor with old-fashioned hospitality, making it the perfect choice for your holiday on Madeira. |
It is becoming an unanimous opinion that the best place to stay in Madeira is a Quinta, which is a traditional old family manor house and a walled estate, with its own luscious gardens. |
Hotel Alpino Atlântico is a beautiful, small hotel situated in a peaceful area on top of a cliff, where all rooms are facing towards the sea. |
Nestled on a cliff top overlooking Funchal, boasting panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, this family-run hotel impresses with its tranquil setting and friendly service. |
