Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden

Excellent service, friendly staff, good food, great gardens, nice clean rooms, and a good gym and pool.

It was very pleasant this garden: It is an hotel very quiet and the room re confortable. We liked to be there during 12 days for resting us.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all spoke English, French and German. The botanical garden was absolutely lovely. It also felt as if there was almost no one around. It was great we could book trips to visit the island directly at the hotel and didn't have to look for anything individually, they were well worth it!

For me, the drinks were too strong, especially if one was spending the day with kids by the swimming pool. And the water in the swimmng pool was extremely cold. The menu in the restaurants didn't appeal to me, as I would expect something local and lighter instead of Thai or Italian food. I would also expect the rooms to be refurbished soon as although they were clean and comfortable, furniture and deco was quite old.

Very human architecture in harmony with the nature. Very well kept gardens an swimming pool area. Good position for exploring Funchal and the rest of the island. Near Canico centar, with the restaurants and other facilities.

Charged parking, and the problems with parking space. Furniture in the appartments is out of date.

The fact that based on the architecture of the hotel you have the feeling of constantly being in a large botanical garden with great views, no matter where you are on this huge property. The staff is extremely helpful as well.

Its just a small paradise on earth where almost everything is perfect but Madeira is like that staff highly qualified and super friendly

Charging the car park at 2 euros a day I find it to be an insult for a guest that spends a good amount of money at the place,must be eliminated

falta de ar condicionado nos quartos o que é desagradavel na Ilha de Madeira por causa do calor e sobretudo da humidade

Le jardin, qui était très agréable, et avec une belle variété d'essences. La vue sur la mer. Le calme de l'appartement (50 m2), le fait qu'on pouvait faire la cuisine, tout en bénéficiant du ménage, qui était assuré de façon impeccable.

Les petits déjeuners à 17 €/personne. L'absence de chaîne française à la TV.

Magnifique jardin tropical. Hotel en dehors de Funchal très apréciable.

Mobilier mérite d'être renouvelé.

Excelente trato. el hotel tiene una gran ubicación, en un paraje muy tranquilo, aunque cercano al aeropuerto y la capital, Funchal. Vistas inmejorables sobre el mar y las Islas Desiertas. Entorno espectacular, enmedio de un maravilloso jardin.
