We loved this hotel, great location for town. lovely breakfast. garage parking.

Excellent hotel. Very good location. Good breakfast.

The internet was not working both in my apartment and at the hotel lobby. The shower temperature changed rapidly from cold to hot without any external influence.

Lovely staff, great location just outside the walls which made it all the better to explore everything òbidos has to offer. Super breakfast.

Bedside table placed right against wardrobe door making it impossible to open!

Lack of a few details that influence in your overall experience as, no water bottle in the room no phone and no space to put your opened luggage

The location was excellent, being just outside the city wall of Obidos. The signage made it easy to find and there was free covered parking. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff was very helpful.

The hallways were a little dark, but that was in keeping with the medieval theme. There were no comfortable chairs in the room for reading or relaxing, although the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel tried best at showing medieval atmosphere. Location. Staff veryt friendly.

Brushing breakfast table cover instead of changing it after use. Foods had very beautiful appearance but were poor in contents. Many decorations that has nothing to do with eating at breakfast. Very little fruits and no vegetable. .Room was too narrow with little convenience.

The building, the location, variety at breakfast, the cleanness, the pool (although we didn't use it as it was January), the easy-access garage, the "mediaeval" decoration.

The internet connection wasn't very good, despite having the router right outside our bedroom.

Nice and friendly staff, excellent location just outside the wall, garage facility.

It was different,Obidos was a very nice place & enjoyed walking around the town, the food we had was wonderful in the Restaurante Alcaide a must for all people visiting Obidos, a great plus for this hotel is the fabulous breakfast they offer you, very well done thank you.

great characterful old building, very comfortable with charming, helpful staff. very convenient for visiting the medieval town.

All positive experience, very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast buffet, (including scrambled egg!) very comfortable bed with some of the most luxurious feeling bed linen i have ever come across, near to all the local restaraunts, ideal location.

Hotel Real d'Obidos is the coolest hotel. Not only is it set in a 14th century building so not a generic cookie cutter hotel, it is decorated with antiques of the time. It is modern, clean and has a lovely breakfast buffet. Eat a good breakfast and then get walking and explore the town! Enjoy the hotel too, as you likely don't have one like this near you : )

A small thing....some ants from the courtyard had found there way into our room. There were a lot of them! I mentioned it to the front desk and they attended to them. Otherwise the room was lovely, the view breathtaking and the pool a nice reprieve from the heat when we were there.

Breakfast was not included, which, given the price point, I felt was a miss...

Everything! Great hotel with real atmosphere. Very different to normal 'corporate' hotels. Good experience. Recommend to anyone.

Car/street noise, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Convenient location just by the city wall, with private parking. Very good breakfast

Wifi was not working properly even with the Hotel computer. We were counting on this for next reservations. Safe deposit box was at an extra cost. Staff was scarce. The huge key is not practical.

Setting was perfect - just outside the Town Walls. Staff were pleasant and facilities were good. Only stayed for two nights but value for money was good.

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. Staff were very informative about Obidos and the surrounding region. The hotel has a lovely pool that we used to rest at the end of a long day. The hotel decor takes some getting used to, but they certainly committed to the medieval theme. Despite the kitchy theme,, the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The bathroom is beautiful! Amazing value for the price of the room!

The hotel has wifi that seemed to work most of the time, but occasionally cut in and out. There is a computer for use on the main floor as a back up.

Very small beds in double rooms. make reservation for twin room.

Hotel Real is a great find and was a joy to stay at. The staff was friendly and very courteous. We had a room (#104) that was a Superior room with a wonderful view of both the pousada/walls and the lovely little fountain within the hotel itself. Signage was excellent for driving to the hotel (something to be said in Portugal).

Nothing significant, the medieval tunics were a bit hokey. The key that we used was a large metallic key coupled to a plastic card. The card was used to allow one to turn on the lights in the room. Locking the room was a little difficult at night, as the lights required the card, but the length of chain between key and card made it difficult.
