Hi Guys Just spent six days in the Hotel .. yeah would have to say I would go back ... Pool Clean .Hotel was very clean rooms cleaned daily . Reception staff friendly , food at the pool ok .. never had evening meal in the Hotel too many good resturants nearby. was on Fourth floor was not on a pool view think i would prefare this as our balcony caught sun in the morning and had a sea view (distant) .. shuttle bus to Old town and strip 5 - 6 times a day .. although taxis were cheap 4 euro .. Old town we strolled to it in less than 15 mins and its all down hill so a nice walk .. Old town is first class busy spot plenty to do , first class beach ... altogether great time had none really there is no night life about hotel quiet

Nice hotel, spacious rooms. Good variety of food at bfasts. Good location for those seeking tranquility and wanting to be at fair distance from hubbub of the town life. Excellent idea with complimentary bus service taking people to beach and Old/New Town. Hotel personnel was helpful but some people could have been more amiable and smiley. The room was cleaned but not very carefully.

hotel in nice location.courtesy bus was excellent.rooms cleaned everyday and were spotless cleaning staff very helpful.spa facilities very good, used indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi which we enjoyed.poolside nice sunbeds easy to get every day unlike someother hotels in the area which to us is a big plus.enjoyed breakfast every morning though sometimes there was a very big que.sorry to say we have a couple of complaints.some of the reception staff can be .quite rude and offhand not a bit helpful which i have since found that other guests have also complained about on tripadvisor.also the beds were not a bit comfortable very hard not nice to have to sleep in them for the 12 nights plus no kettle in room and we both love our cup of tea.overall we enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much and lookforward to staying again.

Having stayed in 2009/2010 and 2011 we enjoy the quiet location and facilities of the hotel, whilst being near to the beach and main shopping centre etc. Also, the staff are all very polite and helpful; good restaurant/food and good atmosphere. Courtesy bus service to beach.....really good facility!

Pool facilities were good and rooms clean and comfortable, staff polite and friendly. As hotel out of town, courtesy bus needed to be more frequent due to distance from local facilities. Timetabling was not made clear at time of booking as this may have affected our choice of hotel. We felt that the hotel could have made better use of bar entertainment for customers in the evening, mostly the bar was deserted with no atmosphere.

Room was very clean and location was perfect as was not on top of all the bars and clubs but only €4 each way Outdoor pool was very cold even at the end of July / beginning of August. Wifi should be free of charge. And more variety on pool side bar lunch menu although food was nice.

The staff upgraded us to a suite, which was much appreciated! The breakfast was good and ample. The rooms were poorly designed. The aesthetic was that of a 1980s North American Motel chain. The bed was the least comfortable I have ever encountered in a hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet location away from the bars and traffic noise. The choice of breakfast was good, but the quality could have been improved. They had tinned fruit salad instead of fresh, and only white bread for toast, etc. The doors in the hotel were a bit noisy when they were closed. The pool was busy during the day, and loungers were sparse, but we didn't have any issues.

There was constant air con in the room if you wanted it. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The pool was nice and big and there were loads of seats and umbrella's around. The poolside bar served food and drink so you didnt have to move from the pool for the day. Staff were friendly. The only thing I didnt like was the constant baging doors in the morning, and early morning at that.... Doors had no hinges so they were constantly babging which got very annoying. That was the only thing id change about it.

The pool bar was good, the barman was very good at his job. Breakfast had alot of variety. Some of the reception and bar staff were not very friendly or helpful. Waited a long time to check in and no apologies were made by the receptionist.

Excellent breakfast. The ability to be able to use the sister hotel was great as this was located on the beach. Some of the reception staff were rude and check-in was very slow. Also found bar staff to be unfriendly. Felt unclean having carpet in the rooms as we were at the beach/pool duration of the trip. Cleaner did not remove and remplinish our dirty glasses for the entire 4 days. Beds were also very soft and uncomfortable and the extra bed was tiny (more for a child) and restricted space in the room - was surprised as we had ordered a triple room.

The hotel is well kept, clean and smart. The rooms are adequately furnished and cleaned to a very high standard. The towels and bed linen are changed daily. The staff are always very helpful. The restaurant is well run and the staff friendly, helpful and very efficient. The food is good quality and well presented. There have been many cut backs since our last visit and I think the cost has made a difference to the kind of visitors that stay at the hotel. The restaurant has also seen a number of changes and there is not nearly the variety of foods on offer, however, you could never go hungry! We had a room at the front of the hotel and it was sometimes very noisy in the early hours with people leaving the hotel or returning after a night out!

It was comfortable and there were many facilities available. The staff that we associated with were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of our room was 5 stars. And when we arrived in this hot country the complimentary water was much obliged! Some may say the pool was cold but on a sorching hot day it was much appreciated! Breakfast in the morning was fresh and full of variety. It was about 15minutes walk to old town which was good but a longer walk to new town. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the real bellavista hotel in portugal and considering the price I would definetly go again. The only thing I can say it that spa treatments were quite pricey and unless you include the gym in your hotel booking it is 5euros per session. I think it would be helpful to provide some information of this to booking customers.

The atmosphere around the pool was very nice and relaxing, and the maids were very good and provided lots of clean towels that were replaced everyday. You have to buy swimming caps if you want to use the indoor pool, the outdoor pool was freezing, the breakfast was adequate, beds in rooms are highly uncomfortable.

The suite we stayed in - the second one we were offered, as the first didn't have a separator door and wasn't so good generally - was really good value. Spa was good too. I've read some bad comments about the staff, but they were all great to us. Underground parking very secure (if overly so when we couldn't get out!). Worst offender was the children's play equipment. Mainly consisted of a 2001 wooden climbing frame/slide with very peeling paint (separate basket swing was great). As I'd wanted my toddlers to play, this was the main thing that let the 4* hotel down for me, that could be replaced quite easily. We knew of but didn't try the kids club or bus to the other hotel. Indoor pool was very good but could be improved with a non-chlorine system of purifying, it hung in the air. Minor issue; ideally for our family, there would have been some water about 60-80cm deep; variety was either 30cm outdoor splash pool, or indoor/outdoor pools starting at 1.25m. But simply, if there was a modern play area, the hotel would have been great for us.

Great spa and treatments on site. Daily offers for treatments which were amazing value. Breakfast choice was great. Staff were very accommodating. Pool area fine. We had dinner at the hotel once which was 20 euro each and really poor food. Would not recommend eating in.

We have been staying in various hotels in Algarve for past ten years and the staff in this hotel were the most friendly we have experienced. They even marked my wifes birthday with a surprise bottle of champagne. They took the date. From her passport at checkin, very nice touch. Highly recommended Location, just a little off the beaten track
