Food & beverage

In the both Restaurants in Hotel Real Palácio, "Restaurant Real" and "Guarda do Real" you can have the best experience in Portuguese Traditional dishes.
The Bar do Palácio, is the best place for a work or leasure meeting, with a special light course service and alive Jazz in some days of the week, is open until 01.00.

With a very soft decor, the Real Palacio rooms give to the guest a very relaxing stay.

Their breakfast is wonderful. They are in a good part of town for touring, but outside the historic center of it all.

Room was a bit small and there was no facility for tea or coffee. It was very warm at night.

The spa was very nice. The rooms were very large.

My wife and I enjoyed the hotel very much. The room was a nice size and we had a good nights sleep. We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. Also, it was a plus having breakfast included in our stay. We definitely will stay at this hotel again.

A standard hotel within its class

When I asked the desk for assistance, on a public holiday, to find a pharmacist, -my wife was feeling unwell, they did not offer any assistance. However, when I mentioned it to the bar staff, they quickly found a nearby pharmacist. I have stayed in many good hotels over a long period of time. I found the desk's attitude, to say the least, very disapointing.

Everything about the hotel was 5 star. Well appointed rooms, excellant choices at breakfast and a very good restaurant for dinner

The room was large and beautifully decorated with a large modern bathroom. The staff was excellent---extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast which was included in the room price was exceptional--including eggs, fresh fruit, smoked salmon, pastries--just about every breakfast food you could imagine. I would definitely stay here again.

From the time we checked in up to five days later when we checked out I can honestly say we did not have one complaint. The staff were all friendly and helpful, our room was bright and spotlessly clean, breakfast was varied and lots to choose from,the metro is only about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, In conclusion we would highly reccommend The Hotel Real Palacio.
