Location, price to quality

Lisbon is a city full adapted tenement houses, so is this hotel. 4**** in the name of Residencia could be measleading. However still would recommend if you want sthg cheap with private bathroom. The worst part was checking in. An old receptionist was so pissed that we had our reservation with booking.com at lower rate and they had to upgrade our dbl room to triple as they run out of twins.

Great location, close to the metro. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable. Great price.

When you walk into the building, there is no indication as to where to go. We were standing there confused when a local man put us in the elevator and pressed floor 4 for us. The room was the noisiest we've ever stayed in. We shared a wall with a kitchen and heard banging pans and other loud noises starting early in the morning. Also, loud voices from the reception area and the floor above were heard regularly. Internet was not reliable. Elevator was not always available.

Personnel: Always considerate and supportive; Location: Not so close to the historical area, but close to bus stops, train and subway stations; Room (402): Very clean. Clean towels every day. Sheets and blankets provided. Enough room for a couple with suitcases and backpacks. Very good shower; Building: Kind of old and a little humid. Very small elevator; Cost/ benefit: Very positive. Breakfast: Optional. Not cheap, but worth the price.

The sightseeing packages offered were more expensive than others we've checked.

A minute only from the metro (underground) station, from where you can travel downtown in less than 10 minutes. Friendly reception. Reasonably quiet. Clean, comfortably equipped rooms (bathtub fixtures could benefit from some upgrade). Wi-Fi Internet in all rooms against a small extra fee. Breakfast simple, but sufficient.

Staff was very friendly. Very comfortable and clean facilities. Location was near a metro stop which was very nice.

Breakfast could have been better (more food choices).

The staff were really friendly & helpful. I felt very safe there. The rooms were very clean. Wireless internet was brilliant. Location was walking distance to city and the underground metro stops are incredibly close too- perfect location.

The breakfast should be included in the price.

For this money I was expecting worse- It was clean and fresh. Perhaps missing free of charge wi-fi.

Did not like the fact that there was no main light switch in the bedroom. The shower head was not attached to the wall. It was generally dingey.

Room was clean and spacious with nice fittings, tea and coffee facilities appreciated. One male receptionist very helpful when we arrived in the evening. Metro nearby.

Another male receptionist quite abrupt and not friendly. Location was too far away from the city centre - could have stayed for the same price much closer to the centre. Outside, it was not immediately apparent that it was a hotel so almost missed it entirely.

Great to have tea and coffee facilites in the room! Very good location next to a shopping centre and the metro. About a fifteen minute walk out of the centre.

We had a very creaky and old bed.

Very central for a short city break, near metros. Friendly and helpfull staff.

I was given a warm welcome even though I turned up at 11.30pm and was quickly checked in and shown to my room. The room was functional and clean and represented excellent value for money given the city centre location.

The room was clean but a little dated. There is no frontage to the hotel and is actually located on the fourth floor. It would be easy to miss.
