Located in the heart of Funchal, opposite main market. Near harbour, buses, restaurants and shops. Clean room and bathroom. The owner is a gentleman. If you're not a sound sleeper, you might hear the city. |

The hotel was very central to funchal with only a few minutes walk into town. Towels and linen were changed everyday. very noisey internally and externally. No lift and lots of stairs. very basic facilities. mouldy bathroom. balcony was where the hotel laundry was hung out to dry. The view was the meat and veg market. |

Central location, very close to all buses and shoping centre. Low cost. A little bit noisy in the early mornings - the hotel is in front of market. Not everybody speaks English in the reception. |

i would recommend this for young people as it is right in the centre of the city and good value for money but of course it lacks a little comfort but the super friendly staff makes up for it. |

The Hotel is very good located. There is close to shopping centre, to all Bus stops, to the beach, and of course to the City centre. There was no problem in communication with hotel staff sometimes was very noisy till late at night and early morning on the street, where the hotel is |

The hotel is located in the historic part of the city very close to the market, public buses, gardens, supermarkets, and the port. Jaime, the daytime deskclerk, speaks perfect English was very helpful. We had a back room with no view, but we did get WiFi, and the tv channels included cnn, bbc, and a couple of movie channels. |

The staffs there are very nice, friendly and warm-hearted. The location is just in the city center and very convenient to go to bus stops, shopping mall, traditional market and 5-minute-walk to seaside. |

Location is directly in the centrum, next to the market halls just a few minutes to the main bus stations. Rooms are daily cleaned and towels are exchanged. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are very cheap, recommended for people with low budget needing just a place to sleep. Very (!) small and functional, very basic and dark, don't expect any comfort or nice interior. Not recommended for noise-sensitive people; traffic in the night, and we heard everything what our neighbors were doing. Not recommended if you have a car, as hotel does not have an own car-park (parking tax is very high in the whole central town area). No breakfast possibilities inside the hotel. |

In the middle of everything. Suprisingly guiet, warm shover, even satellite tv. Sympatic, helpful staff. No refrigator, no heating, but warm enough for loving pair. |

Easy to find (used local bus service from airport), on edge of old town for good restaurants and walking around Funchal. Hotel friendly, clean and towels changed every day. Fish market outside bit noisy in mornings, rooms on top floor have to share balcony with hotel washing! |

A localização é muito boa, no entanto há bastante barulho na rua durante a noite, mas pelo preço numa cidade de turismo não se pode pedir muito mais. Muito aceitável. O restaurante que fica mesmo por baixo da residencial é excelente, recomendo. De facto apenas o Barulho durante a noite é um pouco incómodo. |

El precio y la situación son excelentes. Buen trato del personal y la limpieza es buena. Las instalaciones y los muebles viejos. La recepción muy cerca de las habitaciones, por lo que resultan ruidosas mientras se atiende a los clientes. |

L'emplacement central et la cordialité du personnel. Les chambres côté marché couvert sont bruyantes dès 5h00 du matin. Choisir de préférence les chambres côté cour intérieure. |

Os pontos positivos residem na localização e o pessoal, que se mostrou amável e sempre disponível. A relação qualidade/preço é excelente, a residencial é muito boa para quem quer ficar no centro, perto de tudo e poupar muito dinheiro. Também o terraço oferece uma vista magnífica. Poderia fazer algumas obras. |
