Great value for money
The room is very small and it is a bit noisy (at least our room).
Staff were lovely. Very helpful & kind.
THE LOCATION, HELPFUL STAFF, COMFORT OF THE ROOMS. WE STAYED SIX DAYS AT OUR ARRIVAL IN LISBOA AND THEN RETURN FOR AN EXTRA DAY FOLLOWING OUR 2 DAYS VISIT TO SINTRA. EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
Very friendly helpful staff, spotless place very well located
Old bed making a lot of noise No wifi the first day
Not comfortable bad, Bathroom is very funny I must open the door if I want to sit, not enough clean
Clean In the center Helpful staff Reasonable price
Cold at night even with heater
Very good located in the center of the city. the staff was really good and very helpful. clean room every day.very comfortable.
our room was in the ground floor, without wifi,no windows, with electric heater and very small bathroom.
- Super location - Very friendly and helpful stuff
- Too loud in the night due to unsiffcient soundproof - The bed was very old and squeaking
clean room. Very friendly hosts and they speak perfect English. 24 hours reception. Wifi service is good. Excellent location
The location can be noisy sometimes as it is close to the popular city centre.
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Once we arrived there, we received an upgrade and were very happy with a spacious room which had two balconies. And the location was very good for exploring Lisbon during our short stay. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Very good location, very good price! Friendly staff.
No heating on the room.
Very clean. The lady who serviced our room was excellent. Great location - near Metro, old town, and restaurants. Enjoyed people watching from the balcony. Quiet at night (able to close door to balcony).
A couple times there was a cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom at night.
Location is perfect. Room was very cosy and sunny.
All rooms are located on the second floor and there is no an elevator. Consider this if you have a big language.
It is a very clean place. Very good value for money. The location is about the best in town. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The train station to Sintra, an essential destination for tourists, is a five minute walk away. There is a nearby subway station.
My room was not en-suite but the bathroom was private and very close to the room. There is no breakfast, but lots of cafes nearby. They have only one English speaking TV channel. It is on the second floor and there is no lift.
Location hygiene staff
Comfort of the beds size of the beds noise on the streets size of the rooms
-fast wifi -the old style of the hotel
-Problem with sleeping as the balcony was facing a street that can get very loud sometimes, it does not last till late at night, but would not recommend if you are an early sleeper.
While reasonably basic, I had a comfortable room with a (very small) ensuite shower and toilet. It had everything I needed and the location is great.
Nothing to complain about.
The place is a bit old fashioned but like almost everything in Lisbone :) It's a charming place with all what a young traveller can need. I would definitely recommend it.
You might not find all the commodities that proper hotels offer
- Clean place - Staff _ Very spacious
- Location is really downtown. Very easy to reach the main touristic spots, but on other hand can get a little noisy.
Location was fantastic, staff friendly and very helpful. Close to all the restaurants, can walk almost everywhere in the city. Went down to the water and took a Tuk Tuk ride up to the castle..great way to get there. Funicula back down, also great!
The street in front of the hotel is a little sketchy, lots of graffiti, bars over the windows, bunch of unsavoury looking people hanging around all day that made me nervous, and I'm not easily scared. My husband is 6'3" which helps, but I wouldn't stay here as a young single girl/s. The shower head was not attached to the wall...probably was once as there was anchor screws,so had to use as a hand shower. The city trash trucks empty the trash from the cafes at all hours of the night, horribly noisy (2.30am,midnight etc) if you're at the front of the hotel. Shame as we had a lovely view of the square. Our friends were at the back of the building and didn't hear anything.
Easy walking distance to sights, restaurants and transit. Fabulous view from French doors. Friendly staff. No elevator but owner carried luggage up the stairs.
Warm night with Windows open, very noisy until ~3 am.
The location is perfect.
Location was great. Nice personell, but they're english wasn't strong. The room was clean and they made the bed every day.
The bed was really hard and creaking. Really uncomfortable. The room was very small.
clean, great location, very friendly staff, quiet room
the bed was very small and hard, didn't sleep well because of that
