big bathroom, clean room, very stable bed :-), huge breakfast and very nice staff we could only find it by car through adopting to portugiese driving: by entering two one-way-streets backwards ;) |

Very clean, comfortable and cool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms have everything you need, and the breakfast was great, with some nice extras. Hotel is in a quiet residential area, but with shops and the metro close by. An excellent place to stay. |

A small clean, basic no frills room. Good breakfasts, friendly staff. Prompt replies to email queiries before our arrival. Happy to look after our bags for a few hours after we checked out. |

The owners answered promptly and helpfully my email about how to get there. It was very clean, the food was Ok, good choice of breakfast drinks, they stored our luggage when we were not there. They reccomended good places to eat and day-trips by train to the Douro port wineries, which saved us money on the package tourist trips. The food was not as amazing as the reviews indicated - good fresh bread rolls, but basic and repetitive ham and cheese, not a great variety. |

Friendly staff, the breakfast, good location near the old citycenter. (A bit untidy area but don´t panic; that´s how some areas in Porto are.) A tiny room. |

Nothing. This place ruined my holiday, I will never return to portugal. It is a miserable place with small, smelly, damp rooms, tiny baths (if any), and noisy banging pipes (all night). There's no space in the rooms to move and the TV hangs three meters up (with nothing to watch) so if you're an ostrich who can cope with just a couple of hours sleep a night then it will suit you. The air-con makes a lot of noise but not much else. Horrid, nasty place. |

The staff were helpful and spoke english. The hotel is in a very tranquil part of the city. We had to hold the shower head when showering as there was nothing to hold it up and water went everywhere. The breakfast was dissappointing, no variety. |

Personnel was wonderful, room was clean, breakfast was very tasty. Price for Internet usage was fair. It was not easy to find a place where to park the car as the streets are narrow and crowded but hotel owner was very helpful regarding this issue despite that we arrived very late. |

I stayed here for one week, and I thought it was excellent value for money. The hotel is very close to the Metro, but it is not that far to walk into the centre of the city. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. |
