The room was comfortable and had all the facilities! Even a kettle!
There was nothing to dislike
friendly owner and staff
La calefacción trabajaba en el día que llegué. Sin embargo, no conseguí que funcione en la mañana cuando era necesario como era bastante frío en la habitación. The heating unit worked on the day I arrived. However, I could not get it to work in the morning when it was needed, as it was quite cold in the room.
Central location, Informed and friendly owners who gave us a great restaurant recommendation for a Cataplana stew, namely Avenida Restaurant
Room and bath were TINY, I once actually tripped and fell over the bed Wish they could have offered us options to buy up to a nicer breakfast, i.e. some eggs and fresh fruit
Friendly patron, cleanliness, cotton sheets, good shower, lovely breakfast. Nice view of river.
Bed not very comfortable. Was more expensive than i was expecting considering size of room, noise on street at night and lumpy bed, could not use bath cos no plug. Shower good though.
We loved the warmth of the staff. A family run business who took pride in their guest house and provided a great service. We were made extremely welcome. The room was spotlessly clean. Tea making and breakfast included in the price!
There wasn't anything we didn't like but a hair dryer would have been appreciated. I'm sure had we asked one would have been supplied.
The guesthouse is very close to restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and helpful
Staff were kind and helpful. Made us feel really welcomed
Beautiful traditional accommodation with amazing town and river views, clean comfortable and romantic.
Central location can sometimes be noisy at night for short spells; the price you pay for such a beautiful room.
Lovely situation, (would recommend reserving a room with river view). Easy, secure parking directly opposite once the day's rush is over.
Very low wattage lighting. No sockets for recharging phones, laptops etc..
Charming staff, fine location.
No complaints at all.
great located, small, clean guesthouse runned by nice family.
Location friendly helpful family clean
Shower unit needs repacing
Staff 5 star
The proximity to shops and restaurants. The staff was very nice.
We were switched room after one night and not told that it would incur a charge for breakfast. Side rooms are very noisy. None of the TVs worked in all 4 rooms.
The location is perfect, in the heart of the town and very close to the ferry to the beach. The family who own it are friendly and welcoming. It's basic but good value for what we paid.
We were surprised to learn that there is a curfew at 1am. Admittedly that is not too early, but we don't take kindly being told when to be back when we are on holiday! The shower cubicle in room 4 is tiny...the door into it is a flimsy folding job that does not offer much in the way sound-proofing.
The location put us within a few hundred metres of everything we wanted from restaurants, to shops, the river and boats to the islands, from taxis to a short walk to the train for a trip to Spain or to more distant locations, to explore the Castle and old town. The family run hotel is set up in old Portuguese style and run by a warm and friendly family and staff. We have no hesitation in recommending it to any couple who just want a small hotel and simple relaxing time. Nothing we asked for or about was too much trouble.
Location was great, very close to all cafe's and bars, staff were very helpful and efficient
Bathroom/toilet room 12 was rather tiny, no room to move. TV only had one channel
Friendly owners Superb location in center of Tavira. Cleanliness very good A charming place despite being a little old fashioned
Very Clean Room. Very Nice Helpful Staff. Good Central Location.
Very noisy street in front of the Hotel. Best to get a room with no window facing the road. Hard to find a parking space for your car.
Staff, Location, Sitting with balcony doors open listen to the life down in the town.
Not connecting to Wifi, Rooms a bit small
my room was above a restaurant, which made a lot of noise, no parking there or in the area, had to walk at least 0.7 km with a suitcase on a very unconvenient surface, the couple running the guesthouse doesn't realy know english, had to pay for breakfast although wasn't there to eat. the pictures are not similar at all to what you'll see. were'nt really nice. the reception looks like a flee hotel. won't go back ever.
