The place and the people were loverly wish had stayed longer staff nice people
Nothing to complain about
Everything just perfect! Helpful personnel; good location-close to the ocean; big tarrace with nice view; very clean rooms; comfortable beds; availability of swimming pool;
The only disadvantage I can name is lack of internet in rooms.
I needed a break just to relax and Hotel Mar A Vista ticked all the boxes, quiet area short walk to beach and Old Town plus cheaper local restaurants. Breakfast at Hotel was great and staff really helpful and friendly
The Coffee at breakfast from Machine left a lot to be desired Ha! Ha! but then its not Tschibo or Deue Egberts etc
The staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. They booked excursions for us and gave directions for places we wanted to go. The view from the balcony was amazing as well! The room was a but basic but for such a great price we can't complain and the room was clean and a good size
The coffee for breakfast was disgusting but there was lots of juice so that made up for it! Also the location is on a bit of a hill so if you have difficulty walking its not ideal, but its not too bad if you enjoy a bit of exercise.
the room was tatty, the water did not go down the sink, breakfast was poor
Nice location, and nice wiev
- view from our ballcony,
- very poor hotel, especialy brekfast - cheep cheese and ham. Every day the same menu... - personel not very helpful and nice. not worth staying ...
All fine. Can't expect anything better for this value.
Lady receptionist for friendliness and helpfulness. Close to beach and old town.
Male receptionist. Not much motivation going on there when requiring assistance. Very mundane attitude. Hotel has a very steep walk up from beach.
Breakfast was awful, especially coffee. The coffee machine was half-broken.
Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Should consider employment in higher class hotel
Location. Pool not clean pool area very dirty. Breakfast very poor. Garden consisted of 4 feet of scrub grass and one small tree.hotel needs to have a lot of money spent on it before we would return.
1.Price was acceptable, however it was more expensive than 4 star hotel in Lisboa. 2. Balcony view was nice.
1. very poor breakfast. No warm food, no vegetables, no fruits, disgusting coffe from coffe_machine, no yogurts. Offered only 1 chees plate, and 1 ham plate, some bread, toastes 2. Too many rules. Tickets for breakfast, ticket for visiting pool, thats reallly funny cause pool is 2m square)) 3. No air condition in the room 4. Uncomfortable bed, seems like half Chine slept on it. 5. Located on the hills, so dont expect relaxed comebacktto the hotel in the evening
Good value for money
No wifi in the room
Reception Staff were very friendly
There was quite a bit of noise from outside and housekeeping in the morning. Also the toilet had a horrible smell like sewage of the (pipes, water or drains)that filled the room morning and night.
+ Location; + Availability in busy season.
+ The noise from the corridors and elevator made it impossible to sleep; + The hotel needs some serious refurbishing.
Loved the sea view, balcony, aircon in the room, location in relation to the beach, cleaners around every day, although we chose not to have the room cleaned every day.
Only 1 English channel on TV, but we didn't go on hols to watch TV. No wifi in rooms - but we knew this before booking - just would be nice to have.
the staff were fantastic always on hand to help out.
small pool so no room most days but the beaches are great so wasn't too much of a problem , night staff were a little grumpy
Amazing views from our room Swimming pool Coffee machine at breakfast Close walk to beach and old town Bus stop close by
Felt it was overpriced for what it was. Yes, hotel is very basic and needs some love. But due to the time of year we visited, we had to pay a lot for something we wouldn't have normally. Prices for this hotel are a lot more reasonable in a few weeks. We felt a little ripped off for what we ended up paying but all accommodation in Albufeira was expensive at this time. Unfortunately came down to supply and demand!
Nice & quiet, comfortable with good price and very helpful staff
Five minutes walk to the beach!&Good&easy parking in front of the hotel
The service on reception throughout the day and early evening was friendly and consistent and cery helpful. The price i paid very very good. Pool area small but cracking sun trap! Balcony big and great views.
Wifi can only be accessed whilst sitting in reception area! Moody sod on reception during party hours. THE SHIFT NOBODY WANTS TO BE FAIR.
It was a grand little hotel for jus me and my friend room was grand and surroundings.
The amount of hills u hav to walk to get to the hotel and the hotel had no lift and night time receptionist was so rude and very unprofessional.
Although the hotel is difficult to find, the location is very convenient and only a short walk from the Casco Antiguo seafront. We were luck enough to have a small balcony with a sea view which was stunning.
Other than a very small swimming pool down several flights of steps and a small bar there are no facilities. Our room was comfortable but spartan. Breakfast was very basic with little choice.
Size of Room Bathoom facilities Hotel had a Lift
Unable to get internet in room, had to go downstairs to the lobby/bar area to connect to it
