First off all the location is perfect, just across the street from train station Sinatra, walking just 2 min every where, the bus to castels and the palace is near and the owner is so helpful and made us feel at home, small family place

Perfect location, right on the opposite side of station Sintra exit. Not noisy because of doubleglazing. Very warmhearted staff.

Really no satisfaction...If price can be lower then it would be absolutly perfect xD

Sylvia is an extraordinary hostess. Also, the location is directly across from the train station, about a 10 minute walk into the heart of the city.

    Room is pretty small

Esperanza/ Hope, our host was wonderful. We felt like we were at our own home. You could not find a better location - directly across the street from the train station and bus stop. Very comfortable room, very clean and efficient. No breakfast but these is a snack bar right next door. Highly recommended

Location is convenient, the room itself is sufficient, rates are reasonable - but nothing makes up for the negatives...

Over the years we have experienced our fair share of bad hotels/hostels/etc. However, never have we had such a hard time to make it through a single night. To get straight to the point: the scent inside of the room is so disgusting, my wife and I literally were on the verge of throwing up. We quickly figured out that the smell was coming from the bathroom, but even through closed doors, it still lingered into the main room. It actually is hard to find words to describe it, but to give you a graphic idea, it smelled like a rotten animal carcass mixed with feces, vomit and a strong smell of chlorine. The staff tried to cover it up with cheap room perfume, which hardly made things better, if not made for an even worse cocktail. We honestly don't mean to exaggerate, that is just how terrible it was. We didn't even dare to open the door to the bathroom. When we had to shower, we used a clothespin for our noses, my wife refused to get dinner- ready in there and instead used the pizza hut bathroom across the street. We had to rub peppermint oil under our noses to be able to rest at all but hardly slept anyway, because with the windows wide open with a main street and train station just within a few meters, it was way too noisy - and it still didn't come close to covering up the smell. Apparently the owner knows about this issue (reportedly other guests have complained before us), but refuses to act on it, probably because enough people still seem to fall for this rip-off, as it is one of the few reasonably priced, conveniently located places in the area. We STRONGLY urge you not to book this place, until this has been taken care of. Honestly, we would even prefer bedbugs to this experience.
