Staff were very friendly, went out of their way to help. Breakfasts were great on the roof terrace and the room was always clean and tidy. 5-10 min walk into Tavira for restaurants. no, great value for money |

We stayed in an apartment for 4 people and were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of comfort and facilities on offer - and especially the great view from the roof terrace. (NB the residencia is around the corner from the road that's given as the address - a bit disconcerting when you arrive) |

Very friendly staff, made you feel like part of the family. The Residencial is a very informal place. Nice breakfast in the roof terrace, best orange juice I have tasted. Nice to see that they now had table cloths as one other guest had commented. Very clean and probably the bigest rooms I have stayed in for some time, and right in the center of town. Wifi, wat patchy, and the Residencial is trying to get that fixed. Portuguese Telecom was their trying to fix it. Cable TV was installed the day we left, so the next time I can watch a movie late at night. Breakfast could be better, but when I asked for fresh fruit, it was brought to me in minutes. Some rooms have been decorated but not all, and manager says that all will be done before Aug08. |

The town of Tavira is lovely, the position of the hotel is not great but at no time did we feel unsafe. We spoke to the current owner who has recently taken the hotel and there will be good changes happening shortly. |
