The hotel looked a bit shabby from the outside and was in an area of town which was also a bit rundown. HOWEVER, the interior of the hotel was just fine and the apartment which we had booked was excellent value for money. The downtown location was very convenient for local bars and restaurants and the area appeared to be perfectly safe. Breakfast was not spectacular but was perfectly adequate, bearing in mind the rate we paid.. The excellent owner needs to update his website to reflect the true address of the hotel. The street name given in his publicity no longer exists and this caused us considerable problems with satnav. |

nice apartment, helpfull and frendly staff, good location and value for money. cleanless is the apartments kitchen and living room could be improved. was dusty in the cabinets. also such small things as having salt, sugar and coffe in addition to the tea availabe in the kitchen for the guests could greatly improve satisfaction with the stay in the hotel. |

Location, cleanliness and the staff. The fresh Orange juice served at Breakfast was excellent. The price I paid 42.50 was fair for the lack of some services. Well renovated old building with no lift. Lack of a lift was not mentioned in the hotel description. The breakfast was served like in a roomservice manner having to fill up a form of what you require. You could select either bread or croissant but not both. Car parking on the street.No Internet. I can classify this as only a higher two start hotel and not a three star at all. |

Miguel the owner was very helpful and friendly and helped with us all our needs which were demanding at times we have a yound child. the hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was perfect. everything you would want and expect from a stay. |

The manager was really helpful, he pointed out the best restaurants to go to, and the ones to avoid. We ate at 2 restaurants that he reccomended and they were both excellent. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. Suprisingly, for a 3* they had coffe maker, fridge, and TV (with loads of English channels). The shower was really hot and powefull and great for getting rid of the sand after a day on the beach! |

Don't be put off by the immediate surroundings of this hotel. Inside it is clean and functional with helpful and pleasant staff, and rooms have a very welcome fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. It is well situated five minutes walk from restaurants and ten minutes from boat to beach. |

We had so much space - a whole apartment with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room. Very good breakfast with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and enormous croissants. Miguel was extremely helpful with advice on where to eat etc. A fantastic place to stay, excellent value for money |

We really appreciated the kindness of the owner (he was so nice that he offered to bring us to the train station because of the unavailability of the taxi service!). The breakfast on the terrace was great with a splendid view: the orange juice is worth mentioning! The room was very comfortable and well equipped, we felt like home! We enjoyed the staying and the romantic atmosphere too! |

Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Manager was very helpful - giving me maps, directions etc. It was great to have a fridge and the supermarket next door was handy too. The room was kept very clean which is great on a beach holiday as sand manages to get everywhere. |

My wife and I were travelling on our honeymoon, and we had the pleasure of stopping in Tavira for a couple of quiet, sun-soaked days. It was by far the friendliest and warmest welcome that we have received at any hotel in years. It was truly exceptional. |
