Hotel Sant'Iago

CAB Madeira basketball team was playing ADVagos at the Municipal Gym. We were there to support CAB and to see our grandson play in his first professional game. Hotel had computer, Wi Fi, for use. No charge. Needed directions to several places and the information provided was clear and thorough. Since we did not have a car, public transportation was arranged on time. The Manager was very pleasant as was all the staff.

Free wifi at lobby. The man of the night in reception, so nice guy. Breakfast was ok for us (specially big croissants and fruit of the season)Had one problem with the lights in the room and they solved it fast. There are many little small business (fruit, bar, veterinary, newspapers, bank) around -50mts- hotel zone. There is a LiDL at 1km distance. Near the LiDL there is a very nice restaurant, called o Gremio or something like that, seems expensive when you see it from outside but is like all food in portugal cheap, great quantity and quality!!. Anyways you have to go Aveiro where there is one of best pizza restaurant I have ever been, called Ma Arte or Pizza Arte, Arte Pizza something similar. Deliciuous

There are old rooms and reformed new rooms. Quite a difference beside ones and others (fan vs climatisation system wtf!!). No wifi access in room. The hotel is in a transited bi directional street with not easy parking in front of to leave luggage/check etc. Anyways there is a parking 50 mts near and another one 75 mts.Seems you have to pay in the near one but the receipt machine was broken so we didnt pay nothing. Hotel have also like 2 places in a small closed parking.

La amabilidad del recepcionista que nada más llegar nos hizo todo una ruta turistica para visitar Aveiro y alrededores, dandonos mapas y haciendonos croquis y aconsejando sitios donde ir a comer y que fuesemos observadores que en la misma calle por comer lo mismo podia haber grandes diferencias. El colchon de la cama de lo mejorcito. El desayuno muy bien.

Quizas que se escucha algo de ruido del exterior por la mañana. Pero es lo de menos.

Hotel convenable, petit déjeuuner moyen.

Situation : loin de tout, pas de restaurants dans les environs.

Não gostei da relação qualidade/preço.

nos han tratado fenomenal la familia que lo lleva muy amables y por cierto el desayuno estupendo

Es un hotel tranquilo, familiar, sencillo, pero calidad/precio excelente. El personal del hotel es muy agradable.

El excesivo celo al poner la comida en el desayuno, como racionandola.
