Hotel Smart

Lovely building and garden, excellent location in Esoril. Friendly staff, verry clean rooms with basic facilities. The hotel is like a small castel or mansion. I would highly recommend it for a trip of 2 or 3 nights on the way from Lisbon to Cascais, Sintra and Estoril. The owners can be proud of their property.

Staff were very welcoming, helpful and created a happy friendly atmosphere.The room was clean and comfortable. and the situation was pleasant and quiet but very convenient to the centre of the town

The hotel is in a quiet location within walking distance of the train station. It is very well presented and shiningly clean. Staff were very friendly (especially with our toddler) and accomodating. Can definitively recommend.

Stylish interior, well proportioned room, shutters on windows, helpful receptionist and clean rooms.

It's a nice place to spend a few days with your family. The garden around the building, the pool and the extremely low external noise...it's great! I have to mention the breakfast, because I was mistakenly influenced by some of the other comments here.. it's a good and standard breakfast. Different types of bread, cereals, milk & coffee, eggs, etc. Conclusion? Go there...you won't regret. It's a 5min walk from the Casino and the beach!

There aren't any poolside lounge chairs, just the regular ones.

Unexpectedly pleasant hotel for it's price. Underground parking is a big deal in hot Portuguese climate. Has it's own pool, close to the beach. Almost perfect for short stay while exploring the region.

Lacks air-conditioning and refrigerator in rooms.

Newly renovated family hotel. Rooms comfortable. Hotel personel helpfull. Location in residental area, no trafic nearby. Few minutes walking distance to Estoril center and train station. Swiming pool. Free garage (near streets are tiny and dificult find parking place).

Comunication in enaglish with hotel staff limited. Preferred spanish or french. Breakfast selection poor (same bread, ham and cheese every day). Lack of reading light by bedside.

Good, no frills, hotel for a family holiday. Friendly staff. Good location near beach (5 min) and station (10 min) for the train to Lisbon that takes some 30 min.

No fixture above the bath to put the shower head which makes showering less comfortable. Some people may find the mattresses quite hard.

We had a very pleasant stay and the hotel and garden with pool are charming. We had one of the best rooms with a balcony and it was very clean. The underground parking is also a bonus. Staff very friendly.

The breakfast was not fantastic, yogurt and fruit could also be offered. A bedside light for reading would be convenient, and although I asked for one, nothing was produced.

Very convenient location for beach and Lisbon city. Very good train service nerby.

Hotel had obviously been renovated to a high standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the pool which was not crowded.

Not their fault but there were a number of noisy dogs in the area at night

We choose the Residencial Smart hotel as a place we could relax in after a day of visiting Lisbon.A charming hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere where the staff made you welcomed.
