The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about services and activities. The hotel is very clean and at a great location near train station to sintra, the metro, tram 28 and shops and restaurants. This is my second visit to this hotel and would stay there again. |

The location. It is centrally located, walking distance to all downtown attractions and areas.Staff was friendly and helpful in giving transportation directions. It was very warm in the room (no AC) so we had to keep the window open. It was therefore extremely noisy due to traffic and people talking and yelling outside. Difficult to sleep. The pillow sheets were stained. Hot water in the shower constantly ran out. Public toilet was dirty. |

The location is absolutely perfect! It is near everything! The square in front is fantastic, good food and everything. The hotel is old, we took this twin room with no private bathroom. This meant we had to go to hallway which is not a problem. But other guests puked in there, the bahtroom was old, small and not comfortable. (Eg. No option to put the shower head on a hook.) important: we had the twinroom at the side of the square. Sleeping was absolutely impossible. The noise was amazing, all night long cars, sirenes, people, and all other noises you can possibly think of. The room did not have airco, so it was hot. But opening the window was impossible because the noise was so amazing. I m used to noise, live in a big city, but this was amazing. |

Very nice central location, plenty of space in the room 4 flights of stairs with no elevator was rough, but we handled it. It might not be a bad idea to let people know that is the circumstances in case there is a handicapped person looking at your hotel. |

The location couldn't have been better. You can get the bus from Lisbon airport and it drops you off at the bus stop write outside the hotel. |

The staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. We got to the hotel around 8am after arriving via the Hotel Train from Madrid and were graciously able to check in early since the room was free. It was a life-saver to be able to catch a little more sleep and take a shower. They even taught us a little Portuguese! Not for our use, but I will note the hotel is up a few flight of stairs with no elevator-- fine for us but could be difficult for others. |

Front staff was helpful. Bed sheets had a stain. Bathroom smelt awful. Hot water did last very long at all - not even 5 minutes. |

The location of this hostel is just perfect, you can quickly get anywhere from here as it is in the heart of Rossio Square. I quite liked the atmosphere in the hostel, it's an old building but it has its charm. The rooms are fine but if you expect some of the luxury you may be dissapointed. But taking into consideration it's only a hostel it's great. The stuff is actually not very friendly and not professional. We didn't feel welcomed there. The rooms and bed covers could have been cleaner. |

Everything - small rooms, terrible and small beds, poor shared bathroom facilities, and very simple, small things that could be easily fixed but that were missing such as shower heads, faucets, and more. Also the pictures of this hotel are very misleading. |

Room with the nice view of the city square. The location was perfect though a bit loud during night. Surely earplugs are very useful. the staff was very helpful. There is no lift in the hotel and we were on the third floor. Paying the hotel rent at check-in. No breakfast in the hotel but there is a supermarket just behind th hotel to get cheap and deliious portuguese pastries and pattices. It costs about 2 eur to wash the towels everyday. |
