눉It is an old building and the walls are extremely thin. Breakfast was adequate, but as we often find, providing little variety if you only eat fruit at the start of the day. The bathroom in room 102 certainly needs refurbishing. Some might find the lack of a lift problematic.
눇Guest and house are the operative words, here. It is a house which has been taking visitors for two hundred years and you certainly feel like a welcome guest, but luxury, it is not. Every public room is at your disposal, each room is full of character and it was lovely to see people walking about the house, feeling at home. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and cleaning was meticulous. The bar is stocked as well as any hotel bar and yet is an 'honesty' bar, so once again, at your disposal whenever you wished to use it. It is situated on a pedestrian area near to the main square, so all local events can be watched from the small balcony, if your room is at the front of the property. Luggage can be unloaded in the street behind the property and free parking is only 5 minutes' walk away.
