Located in a restored historic building, the America Diamond’s Hotel features a top-floor dining room with panoramic views. Picoas Metro Station is located right across from the hotel.

Perfect, perfect, perfect location! From Airport take Aerobus No.1 And say to the driver that your station is Marques de Pombal. It takes a kind of 15 mins to get there. From bus station just 5 mins to Vila Nova. The same way back. The same very easy access by metro- from airport red line to Saldanha, change to yellow line to Marques de Pombal. Metro is just few steps away from the hotel which makes it just perfect location to explore Lisbon! Marques de Pombal square is an amazinggg picturesque place! The park of Eduardu vii is awesome and in few steps from hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness amazing! However rooms are quite small. IF you travel with big luggage that might be an issue. The same relates if you are quite tall and big, bathroom is very small. In conclusion this is just an IDEAL place for solo travellers. Wi fi great. Not suitable for honeymooners and families with kids as this is a historical building and walls are quite thin.
I liked the bright colours of the room. The room was small, but it had everything inside. The bathroom was cute, inside of a cupboard, and the water in the shower was nice and hot. The beds were comfy, the wifi was good, good English channels on the tele as well as Portuguese. And the price was amazing. Right in the centre of town. And we got it at very short notice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for a few cheap nights with nothing held back.
Rooms could be bigger but other than this minor detail, it was perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.
Location: Very good location. You have the metro 1 block away. It is a very centric place, but if you want to go to Barrio Alto you have to take the metro or walk for half an hour (btw nice walk) Rooms: The room was very confy. It had a coffee machine. The view was great. Our one was in the corner and it was fantastic. It has lot of light in during the day, but there is no problem at night. It has shades and a nice courtain. Also you can hear no noise from the street. Bathroom: Toillete very clean, and what it is needed. Not a full set of toilettries, but some things are never used, right? Service: the people was nice. Value: It was a little more expensive than other places. Cleanliness: The room and bathroom were very clean. Sleep Quality: very good
It is said that the parking is in the nearby, what it is correct, but it is not easy to get there with your car due to some changes that were done on the streets. We have to drive like miles away to get to the parking, that it is like 2 blocks from the hotel. It would be a great idea to put the address on the confirmation email, so people can go to the parking place, leave the car and get to the hotel just with the luggage. Also it is impossible to park in the street of the hotel (not even momentarily).
Balcony, flat screen tv, comfortable beds, wi-fi, clean, residential apartment feel, elevator
Location, overall style
Room could have had more thorough clean and more offer of tea. There were no spoons available either.
Transportation is very convenient but a bit far from the city center (walking about 20 mins), but metro only two stop.
The toilet is a bit smelly ... (Triple room) No hanger to hang towel in the bathroom.
Good value for price. Wifi connection worked well.
We have no problems.
- the location of the hotel - new furnitures and new sanitary installation
- the room was too small even for one person - the bathroom is too small, it was like it was designed for the Hobbits :)
This hotel is very nice and the staffs were very helpful. TV channels was travellers friendly. Location is good too.
Charged for water from the mini bar after been told it was complimentary.
It was better than I expected
It's difficult to find anything that was not OK.
Lovely helpful staff. Room was spotlessly clean. Absolutely great value for money if you just want to go sight seeing all day. No restaurants in the area but only 5 minutes away on the metro are many restaurants(two stops!)
Location was good.
Room was very small, and in bathroom you could barely enter. Pictures does not represent the actual state of the rooms.
easy to get from the airport
everything is too small on weekends no breackfast close to the location, just BurgerKing. If one doesn't want fast-food, it's dificult to find. During working days it's OK - a lot of cafes nearby.
near to a metro station nice bakery nearby
traffic noise from the main street
The location was perfect, every major part of the city was easy to reach. The room also had a luxurious shower.
There were a handful of ants in my room. Also, it wasn't very spacy.
Great location within the walking distance to the old city and river banks, through one of the main avenidas; city sightseeing bus tours and airport shuttle bus are really close, some local cafes and bars, good hotel quality, no WiFi problems.
It might be noisy in the morning or at night but it is solely to the central location and it is not a major disadvantage.
Shower was great - room large enough - lift for luggage - done just over two years ago! great price in advance and perfect for us to see Lisbon!!! Hope they can get another floor to keep it going!!! All on two floors of a commercial building!, No breakfast but Pasteleria as you walk out on the left with locals having their coffee before work, with smiling staff!! Modern room, very confortable. Well located. I would definitely stay there next time in Lisbon.
The value for money was ok and the location was good.
The space was too small for three people and the building elevator was out of order a few days and we carried down our luggages from the third floor to the first floor.
Location was perfect for both access to airport and seeing all the sights. Very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
There was nothing i did not like about this accommodation, it is exactly as advertised so you know what to expect and it does not disappoint.
The hotel occupies two floors in an appartment building close to the Marquis de Pombal Square. It is in 2 minutes´walk to the metro station, the Aerobus stop and various buses´s stops. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated (Lisbon motives). Wifi worked very well. No breakfast is available but there is a nice cafeteria open MO-SA on the ground floor. Some rooms have a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities.
My room was close to the reception, so it was quite noisy. Also the elektricity box in the room was making strange noise - the staff promised to fix it but nothing happened during the whole week of my stay.
the bathroom was too small and entry into the bathroom is not enough for stout people (maybe 15 - 16 inches wide) was ok for me, but stout people will have to watchout, maybe other rooms have bigger bathrooms and bigger entrance into the bathroom
The staff was very helpful and the place was generally very clean. Its location is very central which makes it a good place if you want to walk or take the metro somewhere.
Tiny rooms, one room without window, noisy
Location was central and easy to find.
