Residencial Castromira

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from Figueira Square where you can take the Yellow Bus to take the city tour.

The only thing we did not like was the bathroom door to be as transparent as it was...

Some noise of traffic from the street

Due to some construction work, we were redirected to the hotel opposite of this one (which is apparently owned by the same man) I was very positively impressed. Never have I paid so little for a hotel, got a very clean private room in a great location. Do not listen to the other reviewers claiming the area is dangerous... Not at all!

Everthing was good

The receptionists are very kind and helpfull. The pension is near the center and you have the underground right there!

Good location, helpful reception

No internet at all, you have to go to internet caffe. Very small room and also very noisy. When your neighbours showers you cant sleep because of the noise. We got room in front off WC so it also was disturbing because we heard everyone. No air conditioner in the room so if it hot you have to open windows, but then you hear all noice from the street.

I liked the friendly staff,it was very clean and cosy,good location,it worth the money.

Not a lot of good to be honest

The area is the red light district of Lisbon,lots of crime in the evenings,daytime could be considered ok. However the hotel staff were extremly poor,prior to arrival i requested if there could be a bottle of champagne and flowers awaiting in the room,this request was met but the "asso mosscato" (champagne) and 3 dead flowers were to cost me more than expected the champagne we found in the local supermarket for 2euro but i was charged 20 euro!!!! i would avoid this hostel as you will incur hidden charges and the hostel wasnt that pleasant in all honesty

The location was great, very close to the metro station. A nice, basic room. Good value for money.

My room was very hot during the day, although I was usually out so this wasn't too bit a problem. Once the sun set it cooled down. The tram stops right outside, so the squeaky brakes were very noisy and seemed to go on the whole night.

The area was run down and was advised upon arrival to not show money in the local area for fear we would be robbed !!!

My room on the third floor was too warm when I went to sleep so I had to leave the fan on in order to get to sleep. By 4 o'clock in the morning I woke up because the temperature had dropped to low. A happy medium could not be achieved.

The staff were friendly. The hotel is so secured. The staff open and close the the door for each entrance in all 24 hours so it is very secured. It is handy to city center and touristy places. The metro station is just outside the hotel. I liked my stay over there. The value is also very reasonable.

The rooms facing to the street are noisy.

The price comparison to the place is good. It is located beside a metro so easily accecible. But the area is not safe at nights.

There is no elevator and they do not speak english at all, not even a word.

The staff was very helpful. They were speaking English. The location was excellent. Just across the metro station.

Funcionários muito simpáticos, ótimo preço e com fácil acesso a estações de metro e poucos minutos caminhando até os pontos principais de Lisboa.

Quartos não tão espaçosos.

o pessoal e muito simpatico. o quarto é bem confortavel e o banho é otimo. bem em frente a estacao do metro.

a posicao do chuveiro podia ser melhor. fica como sugestao...

Muy buen precio. Estaba muy limpio y la atencion ha sido buena. La localizacion genial, a 10 min del centro. Y si llevas coche se puede aparcar en las calles cercanas sin pagar.

Las camas no eran muy buenas, xo al final con el cansancio duermes en cualquier sitio
