The hotel is exactly what I wanted -- old, small, quirky, characterful, comfortable, cheap. For such relief from the bland soulless anonymity of modern concrete and glass boxes, things like slightly variable water temperature, doors that open in strange directions and other old building foibles are just part of the experience. We liked this place, and it's very convenient for the centre of Faro. |

Location, central but quiet. Small, old fashioned. Character. Not flash, its basic particularly the bathroom, but clean and plenty hot water. |

This is a horrible place! In fact for what you get it is expensive! To be tortured on/by this awful bed....Apart from the nice 'Ria Formosa National Park' a stay in Faro is not that interesting. You'd better hide for the excelent 4 star Memmo Balaeira hotel in Sagres on the south-west point of the Algarve. Only a little bit more expensive and almost perfect! |

Excellent location, a step away from the main shopping area, good restaurants and the harbour. The hotel is quaint and charming and very clean. |

The location is super, right off the main shopping area. The owners are wonderful people and could not do enough to help. They told us the best places to shop and eat. They also took us to the beach one afternoon. The entire hotel is very very clean and well decorated. One nice touch is a fridge in each room, plus individual air conditioning, free wifi. The owners also did our laundry. |

Very central; bed/mattress was good. Room was generally clean. The bathroom was clean but a bit smelly and the door only had a very flimsy look. No breakfast. |

Residencial Dandy is an excellent choice if you need a room in central Faro/central Algarve for a really good price. The staff helps you with everything you need. The residencial is very quiet during the night. If you need to work you have free access to wireless internet. We had a wonderful stay and you get a touch of the Portuguese culture. The building is old and traditional! NB: No breakfast |

great price, location, cleanliness, and friendly host. Also it was in a place in Faro where is easy to park for free near church of St.Peter (Sao Pedro) bathroom was extremely small (could take a shower but could barely move inside without hiting knees into walls) |

Es war sehr ruhig und man konnte seinen Tag so planen, wie man selbst wollte und der Sevice der Zimmerreinigung kam immer zu den Zeiten, wo ich nicht anwesend war, egal ob das vormittags oder nachmittags war. |

Ik vond het prettig om in dit hotel te verblijven, het was schoon de eigenaar was heel vriendelijk. we waren op huwelijksreis kregen bij aankomst een flesje wijn aangeboden echt leuk. De douchekop viel elke keer naar beneden onder het douchen, verder was het voor deze prijs uitstekend. |

Heel vriendelijke meneer, wij mochten een kamer met een balkon en onze auto s'avonds voor de deur neerzetten. De kamer was ouderwets maar super schoon,met koelkast a/c en fan. De hotel is echt middin in de stad, makkelijk te vinden dichtbij de kerk. Overal heerlijk eettentjes, een supermarkt, pinautomaten en dichtbij de haven. Wij vonden het te doen, maar voor oudere mensen is de badkamer echt te klein, wel heel schoon, heet water. En ook als je in het weekend er ben kan je beter een kamer achter en niet met balkon nemen, heel veel herrie van mensen op straat...maar wij vonden het wel te doen. |

Der Preis, die Lage, das Haus, und das man rein und raus konnte ohne immer den schlussel abzugeben. Falls ich fragen gehabt hatte, war eigentlich nie jemand dort, die verstandigung war auch ewas schwierig. |

Hotel mignon (style convivial), typique, très propre, tout près du centre ville. Chambre bien fournie avec frigo, climatisation, télé, armoire... on se croit a la maison. |
