The staff was very friendly and helpful (and can speak English!). A glass of wine was offered to us when we checked-in. The room was big and spacious. It is quiet and there is on site car park. Far from the town centre and main beaches, only accessible by car.

We appreciated the helpfulness and flexibility of the reception staff, especially that of "Estelle". The rooms are simple but very clean and bed linen & towels are changed regularly. Also, fresh bread rolls supplied daily and being able to boil water in a kettle for tea! The folding door separating our bedroom (103) and en-suite bathroom cannot be opened/closed quietly; therefore one has to choose between waking the other person or lack of privacy. Really difficult at night. N.B. We can't speak for the other rooms. Tv could only be watched at an awkard angle unless beds were moved around.

Het Hotel Manteigadas ligt in een buitenstadse rustige buurt bij een bushalte die je op 5 minuten naar het pittoreske stadje Setubal brengt. De bediening is heel behulpzaam en voorkomend. Een volwaardig ontbijt (4 euro) dat kan concurreren met 3 en 4-sterren hotels zoals ik later in Lissabon gemerkt heb. Vrienden die in de buurt logeerden konden op eenvoudig verzoek mee komen ontbijten aan dezelfde prijs. Een aanrader voor wie van de Portugese sfeer en vistaurantjes (Setubal) wil genieten (op een uurtje trein van Lissabon)..

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt einen schönen Pool mit einer sehr großen Wiese, auf der mein Sohn Fußballspielen konnte. 'Leider spricht das Personal kein Wort Englisch oder Französisch. Besonders morgen riecht es sehr stark nach Gülle.

El trato del personal fue muy bueno (en portugues e inglés) y la relación calidad precio muy buena. La zona en la que se encuentra es muy tranquila, por las noche ni un sólo ruido. La cama era gigante. Totalmente a las afueras de Setúbal (obligatorio usar vehículo para ir al centro). No tenía wifi que funcionase y por ello dejaban unos portátiles a quién lo solicitaba.

Parkplatz; sehr netter Empfang; Gepäckaufzug; auf Wunsch ruhiges Zimmer, groß, hell; gutes Frühstück. Liegt näher an Zubringerstraße als im Internet dargestellt (um ruhiges Zimmer bitten); Stadtzentrum zu weit zu Fuß; nahegelegens Restaurant 'porco preto' leckeres Fleisch aber nicht gerade günstig.

modern ingerichte kamers, goed verzorgd. voldoende ruimte voor alles slechte tv ontvangst maar 1 zender, voor ons doel lag het iets te ver van het centrum en het strand af,(zelf dus niet goed opgelet met zoeken)

En general esta muy bien, limpieza, atencion, habitaciones amplias, buen desayuno, adicional por 4 €. Además de un Hotel pequeñito, con lo que no está masificado y es mucho más cercano. Por resaltar algo, quizá su ubicacion, un poco alejada del centro de Setubal, pero para ir a las playas casi es obligado coger el coche, con lo que es un mal menor.
