Eight days the same breakfast. Warning, do not call reception services! The receptionist ordered us a taxi from Lisbon taxi company who asked us double price, taking advantage of the fact that hurry to the airport. He gave us a voucher by hand, not an invoice.
Plenty of food for breakfast.
The room was not tidy and we could not close the window, so we were freezing in November. We could not watch the TV because it switched itself continously. The positive thing when we complained about these things we got another room. (The TV was all right in the new room. Others are the same.)
Excellent location for city centre and transport links - metro, train, airport bus. Friendly staff who gave very helpful advice. Overall good value for money. We would stay again. PS - make sure you visit Sintra.
Location - just 1 min walk from the nearest metro, Lots of restaurants near by (Good I, Friendly staff, Not expensive, Clean room, not spacious, but sufficient for a few days of stay
Wifi was out of order during all 3 days of our stay, AC was not working, Small TV and placed too high, Breakfast was not too great, no much variety (no eggs, poor quality juices and breads), No proper ventilation in the room
Comfort level Cooperating Staff Close Proximity to the city center and Public Transport Good Locality Value for money
- if you want a not expensive hotel in the very center of lisbon, this is it. It takes less than a minute of walk time to get from the hotel to the very center - lots of space in the room - kitchen available in the room - quiet
- no wify - the power in sockets goes off when you shut down the light. this makes you choose between having some sleep and charging your devices - no lift - free breakfast wasn't good - no heating in the room. there is electrical heater available, but when you shut down the light, it goes off - the shower was broken when we stayed (it couldn't be fixed to the wall and leaked water on a side)
Good location, clean with friendly staff, especially Guilliame on reception (spoke good English!).
Shower in our room was a bit small and difficult to get in and out of, although our friend had a nice big bath with shower in her room.
Excellent location - 30 meteres from Av Liberdade, & about 5 mins from Restauradores. You can walk to most of the main central areas, or get onto Lisbon's excellent public transport network. Staff were very friendly & helpful. They mostly spoke good English but were patient enough to talk to me in Portuguese whenever I tried. The aircon worked well
Breakfast was not very good & the coffee was bad. We stayed 5 nights, & it was exactly the same every morning. There was no shower holder, so I had to keep the shower in my hand all the time, which makes showering difficult. There was noise from the street but that was not a problem with the windows shut & the aircon on
Location, staff friendliness and comfort.
Can't think of anything.
Modern clean bathroom. Large spacious room. Perfect location to everything such as food, transport and shopping. Can walk to alot of things.
Noisy air conditioning so had to sleep with ear plugs. Guy next door sounded like a lawn mower and could hear him every night.
Quite good for that price. Fine breakfast in a nice breakfastroom. Close to everything we wanted to reach.
old furniture same food every morning
no elevators no English channels
near central squares and bairro alto, everyday cleanning even not requested, helpfull staff
not at all soundproof (every morning it was the reason we wake up, the matress caused pain in the back, the room was a bit old, wifi only in the lobby
This place had everything you need for a basic good nights sleep, which is helped by carrying your bag up the stairs. It is central for buses, trams, the metro, shops, sea and sights. The airport bus also runs near by. The taxi driver had to ask other drivers where the place was , but then found it without problem. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was basic but more than adequate for the price we paid. We would go again.
Nothing- but if you are looking for a higher standard hotel type accommodation this is probably not for you.
location, friendly staff, large room, good supply of water
bitter coffee and diluted juice, a noisy conditioner
the position is very central to the monuments and the night life street even in a quiet street so there's not noise in the night
the wifi works only in the comon areaa and in the first 2 stage (we have the room in the 4 stage and have no signal). the room is little and very old, also the bathroom (ther's no shawer buth bath and it's a little complicated to wash).
friendly and helpful staff. great location. nice price. everything you need is available. good breakfast. nice noise sealing windows. hot water available even in summer. family with little child friendly. safety. nice neighborhood.close to many nice restaurants which are open till late at night.situation at walking distance to rissio. elevador to the top of mountain is very near. if you fancy expansive brand's shopping, the shops are just around the corner. saint george park is around 15 mins walk.the airport bus is 4mins walk which is very reliable and far more cheaper than taxi.all in all best value for money hotel.
I stayed here with my mum, younger sister and partner (who is originally from Lisbon) and we had a normal double with an en suite and a room with a double and single bed with en suite and kitchenette. The hotel was right in the heart of Lisbon with easy access to everything. Staff were always happy to help, give advice, full of suggestions if we needed any, and spoke a range of languages. Breakfast was pleasant and can't complain for the price but if you weren't happy there are plenty of reasonably priced cafes and restaurants close by. Clean and quiet rooms. As my partner is from Lisbon we will definitely be visiting again (and regularly) and we would definitely stay here again without a doubt.
Nothing to fault.
style of the room

The location is great. Staff is friendly. Rooms basic. Breakfast good. Very good value for the money.
Great central location for pleasant price
Missing elevator, but we knew this.
Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Not having wifi in the hotel rooms. I had to do some work and had to spend a few hours each night downstairs in the lounge. Would have liked the comfort of being in my room.
Really loud in the morning (if at the first floor). Forget about sleeping past 7:30 AM!
