Με θέα στο πάρκο Eduardo VII στο κέντρο της Λισαβώνας, το SANA Rex Hotel προσφέρει κομψά διακοσμημένα δωμάτια που διαθέτουν ιδιωτικό μπάνιο με μπανιέρα. Ο σταθμός του μετρό Marques De Pombal απέχει 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Κάθε δωμάτιο στο SANA Rex είναι εξοπλισμένο με διπλά τζάμια και κλιματισμό. Ορισμένα δωμάτια έχουν όμορφη θέα στο πάρκο. Διατίθεται επίσης καλωδιακή τηλεόραση στα δωμάτια. Ο καθημερινός μπουφές πρωινού σερβίρεται στην τραπεζαρία του ξενοδοχείου. Στη διάρκεια της ημέρας, οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να χαλαρώσουν με ένα ποτό στο κλασικά διακοσμημένο lobby bar του Rex, που διαθέτει ψηφιδωτά δάπεδα καθώς και πολλά καθίσματα. Η κομψή λεωφόρος Avenida da Liberdade, που προσφέρει πολλά εστιατόρια και καφετέριες, απέχει μόλις 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το ξενοδοχείο. We appreciated the breakfast that was included. The website described a suite with separate seating area. When we arrived, the "suite" was tiny with two separate rooms and no seating area. When I spoke to the manager, he said that the bed is a seating area when you are not sleeping in it. It was not a convertable sofa! He was very condescending and rude.

The staff were great, changing our rooms so we had two rooms close to eachother and overlooking the park with a huge balcony, managing to treat us with both discretion and humour. Also giving advice on where to eat and visit. The view was splendid. The park across the road is perfect if you want a quiet place to go and sit and read, if you've got kids and want to take them somewhere to play, or you want to wander in the 'estufas' - huge covered nurseries with plants and trees. There were negatives (see below) but on the whole, if the price is right, I'd recommend staying here. Don't even think of asking to use the internet - it cost 3E for half an hour for the slowest connection I have ever encountered. If you like good coffee you might need to give the breakfast a miss - they use the worst kind of automatic coffee machine. At least breakfast is served until 10.30, but after that you are on your own, there isn't any other food on offer in the hotel (we didn't try room service admittedly). The hotel is not right in the centre of town and it is on a slope so you will do a fair amount of walking if you don't want to use taxis to get into the centre - the nearest tube and bus stops are five to ten minutes walk away (only up hill one way of course !).

we arrived 3 hours befor checkin time.At frontdesk they told us no problem in 10 minutes your studio will be clean. We had to wait 1,5 hors to pass those 10 minutes.We lost some time waiting instead of walking around.

It was really great! the rooms were cosy and stylish, the hall and bar were deluxe and the staff was magnificent! I'm definitely booking in for my next trip to Lisboa! Parking it's a bit of a problem because you have to use a public one.

I appreciated the breakfast that was included. The materials are of very good quality. The common areas are very fine. The room and bathroom are extremely small, with a very poor architecture. The bath-tube doesn't allow for a real bath. I got a room with a poor view to the backside of other buildings. The sound isolation is extremely bad, and I was unfortunate to sleep next to some loud spanish couple. The room doors are spring-closed to hard, which is heard in the rooms next to it.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, efficient and very good value. My only complaint would be that the shower didn't work.

Good position-reasonable bar-staff OK-nice foyer/entrance-good clealiness. Tiny room and bathroom with huge pillar. Very poor breakfast with a drinks machine to supply dreadful coffee.

Clean and nicely decorated and furnished. Located up a hill - or down a hill - from the nearest metro stations. Whilst the staff were very polite, service at reception and the bar was a bit slow.

Rooms of a good quality The service was the most appalling ever received in any hotel. As well as being overcharged, we wasted half a day of our three-day holiday in Lisbon waiting for the rooms to be ready - we expected to check in early afternoon but the rooms were 'almost ready' all of the way up to 7pm.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was very clean and breakfast was includeed in price. Room was small and got hot during nights, if we din't use air conditioning while sleeping. Wi-fi should be free for guests.

Good value, centrally located, attentive and obliging staff, spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast with good choice included in rate. No other meals served but concierge recommended marvellous local restaurant run by hotel's former chef where we had an excellent dinner The hardness of the beds And the very very limited range of food snack options available from the bar

Very good value for money, everything was clean, nice view, the tube station was 10 minutes walking distance, 20 minutes walk in the city centre, the breakfast was amazing. nothing that I would dislike
