Score from 2002 reviews Excellent
Mr Joao Grande was very helpful and helped us with everything we needed, he is multilingual and can speak many languages. We had a nice room with a balcony facing Park Eduardo VII. Good breakfast
It was in a posh area which was not served by public transport or buses, though a metro station was 10mins away but a long walk.
The staff was nice! Great location of the hotel.
The old decoration and furniture. wall to wall carpet in guestrooms was very used and dirty.
Proximity to city
Lack of variety in breakfast
Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast was really good
We had 3 people in the room and the third bed was only a fold up bed that was small and not very comfortable. Also the mini bar wasn't restocked before we arrived and staff tried to charge us for drinks that we hadn't had.
Excellent location, very quiet but very central. Scrupulously clean.
Sitting on the toilet, cracking my head on the wash basin, and having my foot in the hallway. Is that a cramped and tiny bathroom?
Good location near metro and main bus routes. Views of one of the most iconic parks in Lisbon. Rooms are ok.
Friendly staff and location
Please change the breakfast menu from day to day. We had the same items for 4 days!
Excellent place for short break vacations! We will back.-
Excellent location, good price. Breakfast was good.
Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom was a little small, as the room.
Facing Eduardo Park..
Air condition was not running and we got cold. (In spite of we informed the hotel personel - they pretend they're interested in)
Good value for money , the location is very near from Marques Do Pompal so everything is within a few steps, nice view from the balcony
Staff are not friendly breakfast is so poor the walls are not sound proof , you can be woken up in the middle of the night for some noises outside
Clean room and good breacfast
Very old furniture and carpet, not a good choice when we think about value for money
Friendly hotel...a tad old fashioned but my room was excellent, very large and had a sort of day room annexe. Also had two balconies. Room cleaning excellent, tv had wide selection, WiFi free and very fast.
Despite having an unusual Swiss chalet style breakfast room...Same facility not used as a restaurant. Liked hotel so did not matter !
Hotel is in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cost of the room was good. The breakfast was very good. The hotel had a secure room to store our bags both before and after our stay.
The hotel is old and needs a facelift. When we arrived the city had gone through a cold snap and the air conditioning had been turned off. This was not good.
Decent breakfast (compared to Italy).
My airconditioning did not work.
Good position because it is very near to the Edward VII Park and it takes 5 min to walk to the metropolitan station.
Very little room and bathroom, bad outlook.
Good location for tourist buses, metro etc. Facing the park. Great views from rooms with panoramic terrace.
Noise from planes overhead Very small bath
Wifi in the room was fine And location was goods
Bed was hard! Sleeping was very uncomfortable The rooms wer noisy! We could here other tourists making noise in the morning and late at night. The bathroom was outdated, the toilet was broken And on top of it allwe had ants in the room! Breakfast was very poor, bread was stale! Overal a very nasty hotel which i will not reccomend to anyone.
Our room was very nice. The hotel is in a great location right in downtown. We had a balcony overlooking the park and we could see the Rio Tejo. The room had a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was included with the room cost and it was a very good breakfast. The next time we go to Lisbon we will stay at this hotel and we will recommend it to all our friends. We can not say one bad thing about this hotel.
Very reasonable for the price. Bed very confortable, powerful shower nice breakfast and fast wifi. Room has a safe, TV, little fridge and aircon.
Cleaning the room was a bit erratic and too superficial. Most days it wasn't done by 4pm, a couple of days they would forget to leave more shower gel even when it run out. Our room had a big pillar in the middle that took all space. The wardrobe was narrower than the hangers so we had to leave it open.
Friendly staff, good location, clean room.
Breakfast was a little bit boring after 2-3 days.
The lift just unconfortable Bathroom ultra small Room is very small fir 4 people
Helpful and friendly staff. Quite a good breakfast selection. Room was clean and looked out over the park. Good value for money. Wifi worked well.
Not really a complaint, but just to note that the hotel is a bit of a walk uphill to get to the hotel, which was fine for us but maybe this should be a consideration if you have difficulties with walking.
view over park and city. porter very helpful.
rooms very small you need to book balcony room, bathroom and bath very cramped and lift only takes 4 people. would have preferred to been closer to tourist area.
